VEHICLE BATTERY CASE
A vehicle battery case includes: a housing in which a battery is mounted and which has a side surface part formed to cover the side surface of the battery; a side upper panel coupled to the side surface part of the housing and extending in a longitudinal direction along the side surface part; a side lower panel coupled to the side surface part of the housing while being spaced downward apart from the side upper panel and extending in the longitudinal direction along the side surface part of the housing, an end of the side lower panel being coupled to an end of the side upper panel so as to form an impact absorption space between the side lower panel and the side upper panel; and a reinforcement panel inserted into the impact absorption space and extending in the longitudinal direction along the side surface part of the housing.
Front vehicle-body structure of vehicle
A front vehicle-body structure is provided that allows for lower deceleration for occupants by facilitating breakage of frame members in the event of an oblique collision. Embodiments include a suspension housing formed with a suspension damper supporting portion, an upper arm supporting portion, and a lower arm supporting portion. A first frame connects an upper portion of the suspension housing and an upper portion on a vehicle-width-direction inner side of a dash panel, a second frame connects the upper portion of the suspension housing and an upper portion of a hinge pillar, and a third frame connects a lower portion of the suspension housing and a lower portion on the vehicle-width-direction inner side of the dash panel. In the event of an oblique collision, the first frame and the second frame break inward in vehicle plan view, and the third frame breaks in a Z-shape in vehicle plan view.
Sill frame arrangement and a vehicle body arrangement comprising a sill frame arrangement of this type
A sill frame arrangement for a vehicle body arrangement includes: a battery arrangement provided in a floor region of the vehicle body arrangement, which has at least one frame arrangement having frame longitudinal members and frame cross members which surround and support at least one battery module, the frame longitudinal members resting on sill elements of a sill arrangement, the sill arrangement including wall elements which form sill chambers. Over an entire height of the sill arrangement, only one wall element directed toward the frame arrangement is provided, at least one additional sill element being provided on each sill element, the sill element and the at least one additional sill element being integrally bonded and interlockingly connected to one another.
MULTIPLE STAGE DEFORMATION REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE FOR IMPACT ABSORPTION
A structural reinforcement for a vehicle comprising: a) a carrier having a base wall from which a plurality of projections extend, the plurality of projections including at least one first projection and at least one second projection and the at least one first projection having a height greater than a height of the at least one second projection; b) an activatable material which is heat activatable and affixed to the carrier, configured to secure the carrier in a cavity of the vehicle; wherein in event of an impact, the at least one first projection and second projection are configured to deform toward the base wall and/or in a direction of an impact load in response to the impact load; and the at least one first projection is configured to receive the impact load and deform before the at least one second projection receives the impact load and deforms.
SIDE SILL ASSEMBLY OF VEHICLE WITH REINFORCED STIFFNESS
A side sill assembly of the vehicle includes a side sill inner, a side sill outer, and a reinforcement unit provided between the side sill inner and the side sill outer. The reinforcement unit includes an upper member provided in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle; a lower member provided in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and located to be spaced from the upper member under the upper member; and an intermediate member having an upper surface bonded to a bottom portion of the upper member and a lower surface bonded to an upper surface of the lower member alternately formed thereon.
SIDE SILL ASSEMBLY OF VEHICLE WITH REINFORCED STIFFNESS
A side sill assembly of the vehicle includes a side sill inner, a side sill outer, and a reinforcement unit provided between the side sill inner and the side sill outer, wherein the reinforcement unit may include a plurality of cell members having an upper member and a lower member bonded to each other vertically at intervals therebetween, and disposed in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle at intervals from each other therebetween; and a connector bonded to rear and front end portions of different cell members among the plurality of cell members to connect the plurality of cell members to each other in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
SIDE SILL ASSEMBLY OF VEHICLE WITH REINFORCED STIFFNESS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A side sill assembly of a vehicle with reinforced stiffness includes a side sill inner, a side sill outer, and a reinforcement unit provided between the side sill inner and the side sill outer. The reinforcement unit includes an upper member having a first upper surface and a first lower surface located lower than the first upper surface, wherein the first upper surface and the first lower surface are alternately disposed in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle; a lower member having a second upper surface and a second lower surface located lower than the second upper surface, wherein the second upper surface and the second lower surface are alternately disposed in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle; and an intermediate member bonded to the upper member and the lower member, respectively, between the upper member and the lower member.
Vehicle frame structure
A vehicle frame structure includes a pair of side members located on both right and left sides of a vehicle, each of the pair of side members extending both forward and rearward of a cabin along a respective side of the cabin. As each of the pair of side members extends in a longitudinal direction at a substantially uniform height, a load applied to one end can be transferred toward the other end.
Vehicle body
A vehicle body may include a floor; a pair of side sills connected to first and second side edges of the floor, respectively; and a cross unit mounted on the floor and extending in a width direction of a vehicle, wherein the cross unit includes a lower crossmember connecting the pair of side sills, an upper crossmember disposed above the lower crossmember, a first reinforcement member disposed between the lower crossmember and the upper crossmember, and a pair of second reinforcement members connected to first and second end portions of the first reinforcement member, respectively.
Floor connection structure of vehicle under body
An embodiment floor connection structure of a vehicle under body configured to connect a floor panel to side sills on both sides of the under body includes a plurality of box panels, each of the box panels including an opened portion and a closed portion, wherein the box panels are configured to be connected to each other along a vehicle width direction, and wherein a first box panel is coupled to a first side sill through the opened portion of the first box panel and a second box panel is coupled to a second side sill through the opened portion of the second box panel.
