Lacrosse stick and substrate for pocket
A substrate is mountable on a lacrosse stick head to form a pocket. The head has a throat attached to a shaft, a ball stop attached to the throat, a scoop distal to the throat, and sidewalls extending between the ball stop and the scoop. The substrate includes a top portion and a bottom portion. The top portion is positioned proximate to the scoop and the bottom portion is positioned between the top and the ball stop. The top and bottom portions include yarn knit to form the substrate. A method of making the substrate includes casting the yarn onto a needle, knitting the top and bottom portions, casting the yarn off the needle, tying off the yarn and attaching the substrate to the head.

ANTI-ROTATION ELEMENT FOR A LACROSSE GOALIE STICK
The present invention provides an anti-rotational element, in the form of an adapter, a member integrated into the shaft or integrated into the head that increasing the front-to-back dimension of the stick compared to the side-to-side width dimension of the stick. The increased front-to-back dimension increases the anti-rotational torque that a lacrosse player, particularly a goalie, can generate. As a result, the goalie can prevent the stick from rotating in their hands when shots are off center relative to the longitudinal axis of the shaft thereby allowing the goalie to make saves that would otherwise result in a goal. The invention also aids in instructing goalies to avoid too tightly gripping the stick, which slows a goalies reaction time for a save.

SPORT STICKS CONFIGURED TO SELECTIVELY DISASSEMBLE AND HAVING ADJUSTABLE STRENGTH AND FLEX CHARACTERISTICS
Sport sticks including a shaft, a plurality of different shaft connectors, and a head are disclosed. The shaft includes at least a first shaft section and a second shaft section. Each of the shaft connectors may couple the first shaft section to the second shaft section. The sport stick is configured to selectively convert between an assembled configuration and a disassembled configuration. In the assembled configuration, the first section, the first shaft connector, and the second section are coupled together. In the disassembled configuration, one or more of the first section, the first shaft connector, and the second section are selectively decoupled. Each one of the plurality of shaft connectors defines at least one of a unique strength characteristic of the sport stick and a unique flexibility characteristic of the sport stick when the sport stick is in the assembled configuration.

Pickleball Training System
A pickleball training system having a paddle, ball, and elastic cord. The paddle has a planar head hitting service and a handle extending from the head. The ball is a hollow sphere having a plurality of perforations in a surface of the sphere. The cord is an elastic member with a dowel connected to a first end of the cord. The dowel and first end of the cord are connected to the ball and a second end of the cord is connected to the paddle. The dowel and first end of the cord are connected to the ball by passing the dowel and first end of the cord through one of the perforations of the ball. The second end of the cord is connected to the paddle by passing the cord first through the through bore of the paddle head and then through the through bore in the handle.
SPORTS EQUIPMENT WITH ALTERABLE CHARACTERISTIC
Articles of sports equipment, such as striking implements (e.g., sticks) and wearable articles (e.g., skates, helmets) for playing hockey or other activities, in which at least one of the characteristics (e.g., stiffness) of the articles of sports equipment is adaptable and can be altered during use of the sports equipment, such as by comprising an alterable component coupled to a controller, by comprising an alterable component that is autonomously alterable, and/or by an alterable component that can be altered in response to a command of a remote device.
Adjustable pitching trainer
A pitching target assembly for training baseball or softball pitchers. A target defines a plurality of zones, each being backed by a pocket or pouch for catching the baseball or softball. The height of the target can be adjusted to match that of a batter. The zones of the target may be adjusted as well, to tailor the targeting within the zone for specific purposes. The target may also be configured at an acute angle relative to a base plane of the pitching target assembly for practicing drop pitches.
