A vehicle front structure basically includes a vehicle frame, an upper suspension arm, a lower suspension arm, a sway bar and a rack and pinion steering. The upper suspension arm is pivotally coupled to the vehicle frame about first and second upper pivot points. The lower suspension arm is pivotally coupled to the vehicle frame about first and second lower pivot points. The sway bar is attached to the upper suspension arm and located above the upper suspension arm. The rack and pinion steering arranged between the upper and lower suspension arms. The rack and pinion steering is located adjacent the second upper pivot point and between the first and second upper pivot points with respect to a longitudinal vehicle direction.

A recreational off-highway vehicle includes side-by-side passenger and driver seats held within a chassis. The seats sit low in the chassis and are covered by a roll cage. The vehicle is powered by an engine rearward of the seats that is connected to a transaxle. A radiator is positioned above the engine. The vehicle is suited for rough terrain travel.

The side plate assembly includes a first side plate and a second side plate opposite to the first side plate. The first side plate and the second plate are connected to the bottom plate and located on a same side of the bottom plate. An edge of the first side plate facing away from the bottom plate defines at least two first slots, and an edge of the second side plate facing away from the bottom plate defines at least two second slots. The support rod assembly includes at least two support rods, each support rod is snap-engaged with one first slot and one second slot. A surface of the support rod assembly facing away from the bottom plate is a bearing surface. A driving unit is also disclosed.

An off-road vehicle includes a frame, a vehicle cover, a prime mover assembly, an intake manifold, and an electrical control unit. An intake seat for the intake manifold is positioned above one of the rear side plates of the vehicle cover. An air filter for the intake manifold is positioned behind a rear baffle of the vehicle cover, which in turn is positioned behind the seat(s). The rear baffle defines an air filter access port, allowing the filter element in the air filter to be accessed and changed from within the cabin. Covers of the air filter access port and the air filter allow changing of the filter element without requiring any tools.

One embodiment of the invention includes a chassis to which a steering column is mounted, where the steering column includes at least one front steerable wheel configured to be driven by an electric motor, a battery housing mounted to the chassis, where the battery housing contains a controller and at least one battery, wiring configured to provide power from the at least one battery to the electric motor, two caster wheels mounted to the chassis, where each caster wheel is configured to rotate around a rotational axis and swivel around a swivel axis, and a hand lever configured to dynamically engage the caster wheels to induce and control drift during a turn.

The utility vehicle also includes an operator area supported by the frame assembly and a powertrain assembly supported by the frame assembly. The powertrain assembly includes at least an engine and a gearbox operably coupled to the engine. The utility vehicle also includes a cooling assembly fluidly coupled to at least the engine and supported by a front portion of the frame assembly. The cooling assembly includes a radiator with a lower portion positioned forward of an upper portion of the radiator.
