A mobile platform (MP) and method for operating same. The MP comprising: a chassis which extends in a longitudinal direction from a back end to a front end and extends in lateral directions from a platform centerline to two opposing lateral sides (wherein the chassis comprises body parts configured to rotate relative to each other); limbs coupled to the chassis; and wheels connected to the limbs. Each limb is movable in a first direction towards the platform centerline and a second direction away from the platform centerline such that a stance of a front or rear pair of limbs can be selectively narrowed and widened.

An agricultural machine having an auxiliary vehicle with a driver's workplace, an agricultural vehicle with a loading ramp for transporting the auxiliary vehicle and a control unit. The agricultural machine is operable in a combined configuration in which the auxiliary vehicle is placed on the loading ramp or in a separated configuration in which the auxiliary vehicle is removable from the loading ramp. The driver's workplace has a human machine interface for controlling a manual driving function of the agricultural vehicle and a manual driving function of the auxiliary vehicle. The control unit is configured to disable the manual driving function of the auxiliary vehicle if the combined configuration of the agricultural machine is present and to enable the manual driving function of the auxiliary vehicle if the separated configuration of the agricultural machine is present.

The frame side bracket (29) provided on the cab support part (28E) and the reinforcement member side bracket (33) provided on the reinforcement member (31) are connected via a connecting pin (36), and a spherical bearing (34) is provided between the frame side bracket (29) and the connecting pin (36).
