STRUCTURAL MOUNT ASSEMBLY AND VEHICLE HAVING STRUCTURAL MOUNT ASSEMBLY
A structural mount assembly for a roof panel of a vehicle. The structural mount assembly includes an exterior bracket and a plurality of interior brackets. The exterior bracket is secured to an exterior surface of the roof panel. The exterior bracket includes a plurality of stanchions for mounting a sensor structure. The plurality of interior brackets are disposed on an interior surface of the roof panel and being secured to the exterior bracket through the roof panel.
Front pillar substructure
A front pillar substructure that enables reduction in deformation of a front pillar. One embodiment of the present disclosure provides a front pillar substructure including a front pillar, and a rocker being joined to the front pillar. The front pillar includes an inner panel located inside with respect to the rocker, and an outer panel arranged so as to interpose the rocker between the inner panel and the outer panel. The outer panel includes an upper panel, and a lower panel overlapped with and joined to the upper panel, the lower panel extending downward with respect to the upper panel. The upper panel or the lower panel includes a bent section bending in the width direction when viewed from the front-rear direction, the bent section being located inside with respect to a joint region where the upper panel and the lower panel are joined.
Beam assembly with multi-hollow formation
A beam assembly includes a first beam that has a first tubular portion and a first projecting portion that extends from the first tubular portion. A second beam has a second tubular portion and a second projecting portion that extends from the second tubular portion. The elongated interior of the first tubular portion defines a first hollow area and the elongated interior of the second tubular portion defines a second hollow area. The first beam is attached to the second beam with the first projecting portion attached to the second tubular portion and the second projecting portion attached to the first tubular portion to define a third hollow area between the first and second projecting portions.
Side vehicle body structure of vehicle
An exhaust system member is provided on a vehicle-width-direction outer side relative to a vehicle body structure on the side of a floor, while avoiding widening of the vehicle and preserving small overlap collision resistance. Embodiments include an engine disposed forward of a partition wall defining a front edge of a vehicle cabin, an exhaust apparatus, a side sill extending along the vehicle front-rear direction on the side of a floor forming a floor surface of the vehicle cabin, and a hinge pillar extending vertically from the side sill. A frame member extends toward the vehicle front side from the hinge pillar and has a front end, on the rear side of a vehicle wheel, overlapping with a vehicle-width-direction length area of the wheel. The exhaust system member is in an area on the vehicle-width-direction outer side of the frame member and on the front side of the hinge pillar.
VEHICLE-BODY STRUCTURE OF ELECTRIC AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE
A vehicle-body structure of an electric automotive vehicle comprises floor-side cross members attached to a floor panel and extending in a vehicle width direction along the floor panel and battery-side cross members provided at a battery case and extending in the vehicle width direction. The floor-side cross members and the battery-side cross members are offset from each other in a vehicle longitudinal direction in a vehicle side view.
VEHICLE-BODY STRUCTURE OF ELECTRIC AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE
A vehicle-body structure comprises right-and-left front side frames and right-and-left frame members respectively extending forward from a vehicle-front portion of a battery case below the right-and-left front side frames. Plural right-side connection portions to connect the right-side frame member to the right-side front side frame are provided to be spaced apart from each other in a vehicle longitudinal direction.
VEHICLE-BODY STRUCTURE OF ELECTRIC AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE
A side load-transmitting member extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction and transmitting a load applied to a vehicle-inward side from a vehicle-outward side toward the vehicle-inward side is provided inside a side sill. A lower portion of the side sill is provided to overlap a battery case in a vehicle side view. The side load-transmitting member comprises a first vertical wall portion provided to overlap a floor-side cross member in the vehicle side view and a second vertical wall portion provided to overlap the battery case in the vehicle side view.
LOWER STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE
There are provided a pair of side sills provided at both outward sides, in a vehicle width direction, of a vehicle body and extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction, first and second battery units provided below a floor panel on respective inward sides, in the vehicle width direction, of and adjacently to the side sills, the first and second battery units being spaced apart from each other in the vehicle width direction, and a connecting member interconnecting the first and second battery units. The connecting member comprises a vehicle-width-direction connection portion to interconnect the first and second battery units so as to transmit a load, in the vehicle width direction, therebetween and plural deformation promotion portions provided adjacently to the vehicle-width-direction connection portion so as to cause deformation at the vehicle-width-direction connection portion when receiving the load caused by a vehicle side collision.
VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE
A vehicle body structure defines a vehicle longitudinal direction and a vehicle lateral direction perpendicular to the vehicle longitudinal direction and includes a rear sill structure. The rear sill assembly at least partially defines a rear opening of the vehicle body structure. The rear sill assembly extends in the vehicle lateral direction. The rear sill assembly includes a first body panel and a second body panel. The first body panel extends from a first side of the rear opening to a second side of the rear opening. The second body panel overlays a portion of the first body panel. The second body panel has a main section that includes a plurality of recessed rib portions that extend in directions that define an acute angle relative to the vehicle longitudinal direction.
Vehicle
A vehicle may include: a floor panel; a rocker extending along a side edge of the floor panel; a rear side member located on a rear side of the rocker and extending along a front-rear direction of the vehicle; and a suspension. The suspension may include a trailing arm; and a bracket connected to the trailing arm via a bush. The bracket may be fastened to the rocker at a first fastening point by a first bolt and fastened to the rear side member at a second fastening point by a second bolt.
