Cowl top cover

This cowl top cover has a cover body section and a vertical wall section which extends vertically from the front end of the cover body section. The vertical wall section is provided with a vertical wall body, an opening which is formed in the vertical wall body, and a cover section has a cover-side bending promotion section which extends in the width direction of the vehicle and which promotes the bending and deformation of the cover section to one side of the length direction of the vehicle. As a result of this configuration, the cowl top cover can consistently exhibit a sufficient impact absorption function when subjected to an impact.

Front vehicle-body structure for vehicle

A front vehicle-body structure for reducing second-order vibration of a windshield, and improving NVH performance in a vehicle cabin. A tower bar coupling each of left and right front suspension housings with a region around a vehicle-width-direction center portion of a cowl forming a lower edge of an opening for a front windshield has a center portion extending in a vehicle width direction along the cowl. A bracket extending from the cowl toward a front of a vehicle is provided in a region including a vehicle-width-direction center portion of the front windshield in the lower edge of the opening. The center portion of the tower bar is fixed to the bracket from above, and a reinforcement member supporting the fixing region from below is provided.

VEHICLE LOUDSPEAKER SYSTEM

Forms of a vehicle loudspeaker system may include: a vehicle interior space defined on an inner side of a front windshield, a vehicle exterior storage space defined on a front side of the vehicle interior space such that a partition is disposed between the vehicle exterior storage space and the vehicle interior space, a cowl box disposed between an upper end of the partition and a lower end of the front windshield, and a loudspeaker including a diaphragm. The loudspeaker may be disposed in the cowl box such that sound pressure generated by the diaphragm is emitted to the vehicle interior space.

A method of drawing an axial tube made of an aluminum (Al) material for a cowl cross bar includes performing NaOH etching on an extruded pipe having a single diameter and made of an Al alloy and performing high frequency heat treatment on the extruded pipe to increase a tube reduction ratio of the extruded pipe. The cowl cross bar is manufactured having a large diameter section and a small diameter section have a difference in diameter, due to a tube reduction ratio, of 40% by a diameter reduction section. Therefore, even when an Al alloy is manufactured as the axial tube having different diameters, the occurrence of cracks is prevented.

Safety device for heating hoses

A safety device for heating hoses is provided to prevent overheating of a heating wire. The safety device includes a first hose that connects between a reservoir and a connector and a second hose that is fluidly connected to the first hose and allows windshield washer fluid to flow from the connector to a spray nozzle. A housing encloses the connector and a heating wire is disposed in at least one of the first and second hoses. A terminal is disposed inside the housing and is connected to the heating wire to apply electric power from a power supply unit to the heating wire. A circuit breaker is connected to the terminal and the heating wire and cuts off electric power applied to the heating wire based on a temperature condition.

Front pillar structure for vehicle

A front pillar structure for a vehicle includes a front pillar including a front pillar lower extending vertically and a front pillar upper extending obliquely from the front pillar lower. A connection member is coupled to a bottom end of the front pillar lower and connects a front side member and a side sill. The front pillar lower has an S-shaped cross section and the connection member has stepwise flanges coupled to the bottom end of the front pillar lower.
