In order to produce different motor vehicles of a vehicle type, which have the different drive concepts of an internal combustion engine, electric motor or a combination of an electric motor and an internal combustion engine, two different floor pan assemblies and two different luggage compartment floor subassemblies are provided. The two subassemblies are each produced using different deep-drawing dies. A combination of one of the two floor pan subassemblies with one of the two luggage compartment floor subassemblies allows the production of motor vehicles for all three drive concepts. The first of these two floor pan subassemblies, when installed in the vehicle, has a higher position than the second floor pan subassembly. The higher floor pan subassembly is used to produce both the electric-drive motor vehicles and hybrid-drive motor vehicles. A large-area installation space below the floor pan subassembly is also made available for the hybrid-drive motor vehicles for housing at least one pack-type battery.

Rear structure of vehicle

A front-side cross member and a rear-side cross member in a front portion of a rear floor are spaced apart from each other, on a top side of the rear floor, ends of the front-side cross member in the vehicle width direction are connected to respective lower ends of left and right brace members extending up and down, while the rear-side cross member is disposed on the rear floor from an underside of the rear floor. A high voltage component is disposed on a top face in the front portion of the rear floor between the front and rear-side cross members, the high voltage component is disposed rearwardly spaced apart from the front-side cross member and closer to the rear-side cross member, and the high voltage component is attached to the front-side cross member via a bracket that deforms under a load in the vehicle front-rear direction.

MULTI-ACCESS LIFTGATE

A multi-way liftgate assembly providing a plurality of dividers dividing the rear cargo area of a passenger vehicle into a plurality of secure areas assessable from a plurality of panels forming a liftgate to provide controlled access to one or more of those compartments. The vehicle operator has secure control of which portions of the cargo area can be selectively accessed. The multi-way liftgate assembly provides multiple secure openings to the cargo area of a vehicle that typically has only one secure opening to the cargo area.

Vehicle body structure of tailgate opening

A vehicle body structure of a tailgate opening enhances rigidity and strength of a lower portion of an opening through a change in the vehicle body structure of a tailgate opening. The vehicle body structure includes: a D-pillar member configured to form a closed cross-section structure and vertically installed on each of both sides of a tailgate opening; and a transverse member installed in a lower portion of the tailgate opening in a left-right direction and including side portions at both ends of the transverse member. In particular, the side portions are inserted into a lower end of the D-pillar member such that the side portions are surrounded by and coupled to an inner surface of the lower end of the D-pillar member to form a closed cross-section structure.

A lighting device for a vehicle includes a map lamp, left and right rear seat reading lamps, left and right trunk lightings, left and right rear gate lightings, and left and right rear pillar lightings. The map lamp, the left rear seat reading lamp, the left trunk lighting, the left rear gate lighting, and the left rear pillar lighting are disposed along a left connecting line. In addition, the map lamp, the right rear seat reading lamp, the right trunk lighting, the right rear gate lighting, and the right rear pillar lighting are disposed along a right connecting line. The left and right connecting lines extend such that a gap in a vehicle width direction is gradually reduced from a rear side of the vehicle toward a front side of the vehicle.

Front storage apparatus for vehicle

A front storage apparatus for a vehicle includes a vehicle hood pivotally connected to the front of a vehicle body, a frunk located under the vehicle hood, a frunk lid pivotally connected to the frunk, and a connecting rod operatively connecting the frunk lid and the vehicle hood.

VEHICLE BODY REAR PORTION HAVING TAILGATE OPENING PORTION

A vehicle body rear portion may have a tailgate opening portion for improving torsional rigidity and durability performance of a vehicle body.

VEHICLE BODY REAR PART STRUCTURE

A vehicle body rear part structure includes a rear frame and a beam member. The rear frame has: a first inner bead, a first outer bead, a second inner bead, and a second outer bead. The first inner bead and the first outer bead are formed on an inner wall and an outer wall, respectively, in a region close to the beam member. The second inner bead and the second outer bead are formed on the inner wall and the outer wall, respectively, in a region that is separated to a vehicle body frontward direction from the first beads. The first outer bead is formed to have a higher fragility than the first inner bead.

VEHICLE BODY REAR CONNECTION STRUCTURE

A vehicle body rear connection structure includes an extension rear transverse that connects a pillar member disposed in a vertical direction of a vehicle body to a transverse member disposed in a width direction of the vehicle body at a rear of the vehicle body, and of which a seat belt mounting portion is formed, and a reinforcement transverse extension which is mounted on a side of the extension rear transverse, and a lower portion of which is connected to a floor panel.

A vehicle body structure includes a rear bulkhead, a wheel house inner, and a damper-mounting portion. The rear bulkhead includes a left first side closed cross section portion and a left upper closed cross section portion. The left first side closed cross section portion forms a closed cross section which extends along the wheel house inner in a vertical direction. The left upper closed cross section portion forms a closed cross section which extends in a vehicle width direction above the left first side closed cross section portion. The left first side closed cross section portion includes at least one of a fending portion of which a closed cross-sectional area is reduced compared to another region and a fending portion of which a closed cross-sectional area is zero between the left first side closed cross section portion and the left upper closed cross section portion.
