Apparatus for automatically opening and closing trunk lid

An apparatus for automatically opening and closing a trunk lid includes an actuator having a first end configured to be coupled to a vehicle body and a second end configured to be coupled to a hinge arm coupled to the trunk lid, a closing trigger link having a first end rotatably coupled to the actuator, an opening trigger link rotatably coupled to the closing trigger link, a spring assembling pin having a first end coupled to the closing trigger link and the opening trigger link, and a spring having a first end coupled to a second end of the spring assembling pin, and a second end configured to be coupled to the vehicle body or a panel configured to be mounted on the vehicle body.

Vehicle bonnet structure

A vehicle bonnet structure, having designability, dent resistance and reduced weight, includes an outer panel, an inner panel attached to a back face of this outer panel, and a stiffener disposed between a front portion of the outer panel and a front portion of the inner panel and supported on the inner panel. A first step portion is provided in a vehicle-width-direction inner-side area of the outer panel which extends in the front-rear direction and has a smaller up-down dimension on the front side than on the rear side. The stiffener includes a first sealer which abuts against the outer panel in an extension line vicinity area toward the front side of a boundary portion of the first step portion and suppresses downward displacement of the outer panel, and a first bead portion extending in the front-rear direction at a position in the vicinity of the first sealer.

An outer skin component for a motor vehicle is designed as a shell component with an outer shell and an inner shell, which are in each case designed as fiber-reinforced plastics shells with a fiber reinforcement embedded into a thermosetting plastic matrix. The fiber reinforcement of the outer shell consists of one or more layers of nonwoven material.

VEHICLE BODY FRONT STRUCTURE

A vehicle body front structure includes a hood provided at an opening formed in a front part of a vehicle, a bumper located more frontward than the hood, and a grille provided as a part of the bumper. Each of the hood, the bumper, and the grille is at least partially provided with an identically inclined surface portion such that when viewed in a plane perpendicular to a vehicle width direction, positions of surfaces of the hood, the bumper, and the grille that are adjacent to each other are flush with each other in an out-of-plane direction.

VISIBILITY ENHANCEMENTS FOR DELIVERY VEHICLE

A vehicle assembly includes a vehicle body and a driver seat. The vehicle body defines a driver compartment having a first door with a first window and a second door with a second window. The driver seat is disposed within the driver compartment. When the driver seat is in a position that accommodates an operator being in a 95.sup.th male height percentile, the operator within the driver seat can see out of (i) the first window at a first angle relative to a forward looking direction that is parallel with a longitudinal axis of the vehicle body and (ii) the second window at a second angle relative to the forward looking direction. Each of the first angle and the second angle is at least 95 degrees.

Vehicle panel structure

A vehicle panel structure according to technology disclosed herein includes: a panel member employed in a vehicle; a joining member configured including an angled wall that is disposed on one plate thickness direction side of a joined-to wall of the panel member, and that is angled with respect to the joined-to wall, and a joining wall that is disposed facing the one plate thickness direction side of the joined-to wall, and that is coupled to the angled wall through a bent portion; and a spot weld that configures a join portion where the joining wall is joined to the joined-to wall, and that is set at a portion of the join portion where an extension line running along an axial direction of the angled wall intersects.

Vehicle front end assembly

A vehicle frame structure has a front side member that extends forward from a dashwall. An engine cradle is attached to the front side member with a lateral side portion of the engine cradle being located beneath and spaced apart from a lower surface of the front side member. An engine installed to the engine cradle with a portion of the engine extending upward from the engine cradle adjacent to an inboard surface of the front side member, A push-off structure is attached to an outboard surface of the front side member adjacent to a front end surface of the front side member. A portion of the push-off structure extends outboard from the outboard surface. Another portion of the push-off structure extends downward below the lower surface of the front side member toward the lateral portion of the engine cradle and the engine.
