A composite mat for a vehicle is provided. The composite mat includes a composite material assembled to an upper surface of a floor module at a lower portion of a vehicle body, the composite material being configured by stacking a glass fiber mat and a polyurethane resin layer on a surface of a honeycomb layer, and a woven fabric layer stacked on the composite material such that the woven fabric layer is integrated with the composite material.

The forward sub-frame includes first and second side supports each having and extending longitudinally between forward and rearward end portions. The battery pack includes a support structure disposed beneath, and engaged to, the body structure between the first and second side rails. The support structure has a plurality of longitudinal components spaced laterally apart from one-another, and disposed parallel to the opposite first and second side rails. The rearward end portions of the first and second side supports are proximate to respective first and second longitudinal components of the plurality of longitudinal components.

An electric vehicle includes a body structure, a forward sub-frame, and a battery pack. The body structure includes first and second side rails. The forward sub-frame includes first and second side supports each having and extending longitudinally between forward and rearward end portions. The first and second side supports are located forward of, and substantially parallel to, the first and second side rails. The battery pack includes a support structure disposed beneath, and engaged to, the body structure between the first and second side rails. The support structure has a plurality of longitudinal components spaced laterally apart from one-another, and disposed parallel to the opposite first and second side rails. The rearward end portions of the first and second side supports are proximate to respective first and second longitudinal components of the plurality of longitudinal components.

This disclosure relates to a motor vehicle floor assembly with recesses for electrical lines and electrical modules, and a corresponding method. An example assembly includes a floor with a surface, a channel at a first depth relative to the surface, and a pocket at a second depth relative to the surface. The second depth is greater than the first depth.

A vehicle seat is detachably attached to a floor of a vehicle. The vehicle seat includes a seat body configured to support an occupant and a lock mechanism disposed below the seat body and detachably attached to a first striker provided on the floor. The lock mechanism includes a first lock part that has a first lock groove configured to be engaged with the first striker and a cover configured to be displaced between an exposing position to expose the first lock groove and a covering position to cover at least a part of the first lock groove.
