A lower body structure of a vehicle includes: a left and right pair of left seat rails and a left and right pair of right seat rails configured to make left and right seats of a second-row seat independently slidable; a first cross member including securing portions to which the left seat rails and the right seat rails are secured; a second cross member disposed apart from the first cross member in a vehicle fore-and-aft direction; and a first coupling member that couples the first cross member and the second cross member to each other in the vehicle fore-and-aft direction. The first coupling member is located between the securing portion located on a left side of the right seat rails and the securing portion located on a right side of the left seat rails in a vehicle width direction.

Vehicle body lower structure

A vehicle body lower structure includes a battery case, a side sill, and a case-mounting frame. The case-mounting frame has a frame main body portion and a battery case reception flange. The battery case reception flange extends to an inward side in a vehicle width direction from the frame main body portion and is joined to a lower surface of a bottom wall of the battery case. A battery support frame extending in a vehicle body forward-rearward direction and supporting a battery is fixed to the bottom wall of the battery case. A recessed portion protruding downward is provided between a joint portion with respect to the battery case reception flange and a joint portion with respect to the battery support frame in the bottom wall of the battery case.

MODULAR TRUCK BED FLOOR

A pick-up truck bed includes a plurality of plates longer in a longitudinal direction than in a transverse direction that are assembled together along longitudinally extending edges to a laterally adjacent one of the plates. The plates each include a plurality of supporting structures longitudinally extending along a length of the plates that support the plates on transversely extending cross-members. A left-side plate defines a left wheel housing cutout, a longitudinally extending central plate includes first and second complementary interlocking features on opposite longitudinally extending sides, and a longitudinally extending right-side plate defines a right wheel housing cutout. The left-side plate includes a first interlocking feature and the right-side plate includes a second interlocking feature that each receive one of the complementary interlocking features of the central plate.
