LAND VEHICLES INCORPORATING REMOVABLE POWERTRAIN UNITS, POWERTRAIN UNITS, AND METHODS THEREFOR
Land vehicles, powertrain units for land vehicles, and methods of using land vehicles are disclosed herein. In certain embodiments, the land vehicles are provided as delivery vehicles and/or utility vehicles. A land vehicle includes a frame structure having a front cage that defines an operator cabin and a rear floor positioned rearward of the front cage. The frame structure supports a plurality of wheels to permit movement of the vehicle relative to an underlying surface in use of the land vehicle. An underside of the frame structure is disposed in confronting relation with the underlying surface.
Breakaway system for captive beam system
A breakaway system for use with a decking system may include a bracket that is configured to be capable of sliding along a track and a carrier that is releasably coupled to the bracket. The bracket and the carrier may be configured to be separated when an upward force is applied upon the bracket and not upon the carrier.
Indoor maintenance cover of bus
An indoor maintenance cover of a bus includes: a frame mounted on a maintenance hole; a first door and a second door in which respective both ends are connected to the frame by a hinge pin to open/close the maintenance hole; an interlocking device configured to join a hinge pin connected to one end of the first door and a hinge pin connected to one end of the second door, the interlocking device facing the hinge pin so that the first door and the second door rotate while interlocking with each other; and a fastener fastening the first door and the second door while the first door and the second door are closed. The maintenance cover can be installed to prevent accidents while increasing operability for easily opening or closing the maintenance hole in the bus.
MULTI-DIMENSIONAL LOAD STRUCTURE
A load structure may include a first honeycomb layer, a second honeycomb layer, and/or an attachment feature. The second honeycomb layer may be connected to the first honeycomb layer. The attachment feature may be connected to at least one of the first honeycomb layer or the second honeycomb layer. A method of manufacturing a load structure may include providing a first honeycomb layer, a second honeycomb layer, and an attachment feature, disposing an adhesive layer onto at least one of the first honeycomb layer or the second honeycomb layer, connecting an attachment feature to the first honeycomb layer or the second honeycomb layer, and/or disposing the first honeycomb layer onto the second honeycomb layer.
Flooring apparatus and method of manufacture
A flooring apparatus and method of making the same are provided. The apparatus and method, in one embodiment, may include providing an elongated member having a top surface. A first adhesive is deposited about a perimeter of the top surface of the elongated member. A second adhesive is deposited within the perimeter of the top surface of the elongated member, with the second adhesive having a lower viscosity than the first adhesive and being retained within the perimeter by the first adhesive. A friction-increasing member is then heated to a pre-heat temperature. The friction-increasing member is disposed on the first and second adhesive to form the flooring apparatus. The flooring apparatus is then cured at a curing temperature, in one embodiment, that is greater than the pre-heat temperature.
CARGO COMPONENT OF VEHICLE
A cargo component of a vehicle includes a panel, at least one ridge, and a plurality of measurement gradations. The ridge extends along the panel. The plurality of measurement gradations are formed in and along the ridge. In one form, the ridge extends in a longitudinal direction of the panel.
Systems and methods for protection of floorings in shipping containers
An exemplary approach for protecting floorings in containers may utilize a first ledger attached to an upper portion of a first support beam associated with a foundational base assembly. A portion of the first ledger may protrude outward in a first horizontal direction from the upper portion of the first support beam. A second ledger may be attached to an upper portion of a second support beam next to the first support beam. A portion of the second ledger may protrude outward in a second horizontal direction from the upper portion of the second support beam. The second horizontal direction may face the first horizontal direction. A support panel may be placed on top of the portion of the first ledger and the portion of the second ledger. The support panel may have a length proximate to a distance between the first support beam and the second support beam.
Side-by-side utility vehicle
A utility vehicle includes a plurality of ground engaging members and a frame supported by the plurality of ground engaging members. The frame assembly extends generally along a longitudinal axis of the utility vehicle. The utility vehicle further includes a front seating section coupled to the frame. The front seating section is configured to support an operator and a first passenger. Additionally, the utility vehicle includes a rear seating section coupled to the frame. The rear seating section is configured to support a second passenger and a third passenger. The rear seating section has an angled panel configured as a dead pedal for the second and third passengers, and a portion of the rear seating section extends forwardly into the front seating section.
Floor board
A floor board, and a method and apparatus for manufacturing same. The floor board (100) comprises a polyurethane-foam board (110). The polyurethane-foam board (110) is made of a polyurethane foam material foamed from a polyurethane foam raw material. The polyurethane-foam board (110) is provided with a plurality of linear members (120) passing though the polyurethane-foam board in a predetermined direction. The plurality of linear members (120) are arranged at intervals. The polyurethane-foam board (110) is foaming-molded by continuous drawing.
Composite panels including an aesthetic edge
Certain configurations of composite panels are described that comprise at least one aesthetic edge. In some embodiments, the composite panel with the aesthetic edge comprises a sandwich panel coupled to a shell layer. The sandwich panel may comprise skin layers and a core layer.
