20220048445 · 2022-02-17 ·

A cover device for a side sill of a passenger vehicle includes a sill cover which has a cover element securable on the side sill and a mobile cover element which is disposable in a length region of the side sill below a door opening of the passenger vehicle. The mobile cover element is displaceable between a covering position and an entry position by a drive unit and the drive unit, configured as a pre-assembled structural unit, has a motor and is disposed in a region of the cover element by a holding device. The motor is disposed on an outside of the cover element and protrudes into an interior of the sill cover with a motor shaft.

UNDERCOVER STRUCTURE

In an undercover structure according to the present invention, a first cover part that is a lowermost part of an undercover has a first rear end positioned ahead of a front wheel axle. This generates a strong negative pressure in a region ahead of the front wheel axle. Accordingly, a flow rate of air flowing to a wheelhouse decreases (a flow rate of airflow between a road and a vehicle generated along a bottom surface of the first cover part of the undercover increases). This causes an attraction force that attracts the vehicle to a road surface to act on a vehicle body of the vehicle, thereby making traveling stability more excellent.

Vehicle lower section structure

A vehicle lower section structure includes, a suspension member; a contactless charging module attached to the suspension member and configured to receive power from a power supply module without contact; and an electrically conductive under-cover disposed adjacent to the contactless charging module in a vehicle front-rear direction at a vehicle lower side of the suspension member, and covering the suspension member from the vehicle lower side.

A vehicle front-end assembly having a vehicle frame, a first tow hook and a skid plate. The vehicle frame has a first front side member with a front-end portion. The first tow hook has a forward portion and a rearward portion. The rearward portion of the first tow hook is attached the front-end portion of the first front side member by a first mechanical fastener. The skid plate has a main section, a first attachment flange extending from a first lateral side of the main section, the first attachment flange being fixed to the first front side member by the first mechanical fastener.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROTECTION OF FLOORINGS IN SHIPPING CONTAINERS

An exemplary approach for protecting floorings in containers may utilize a first ledger attached to an upper portion of a first support beam associated with a foundational base assembly. A portion of the first ledger may protrude outward in a first horizontal direction from the upper portion of the first support beam. A second ledger may be attached to an upper portion of a second support beam next to the first support beam. A portion of the second ledger may protrude outward in a second horizontal direction from the upper portion of the second support beam. The second horizontal direction may face the first horizontal direction. A support panel may be placed on top of the portion of the first ledger and the portion of the second ledger. The support panel may have a length proximate to a distance between the first support beam and the second support beam.

VEHICLE UNDERBODY COVER STRUCTURE

A vehicle underbody cover structure includes: a first splash shield placed below a cooling object and having a service hole; and a service lid detachably attached to the first splash shield such that the service lid covers the service hole. The service lid includes a lid-side vertical wall standing in the up-down direction, the lid-side vertical wall being placed ahead of the cooling object in the vehicle front-rear direction. The lid-side vertical wall has an air-cooling hole provided in a penetrating manner in the vehicle front-rear direction such that travel wind passes through the air-cooling hole, the air-cooling hole being provided to at least partially overlap with the cooling object in the vehicle width direction.

Non-woven fabric with enhanced hardness and sound absorption, manufacturing method therefor, and automotive undercover comprising non-woven fabric with enhanced hardness and sound absorption

The present invention relates to non-woven fabric with enhanced hardness and sound absorption, more specifically to non-woven fabric that includes two or more kinds of polyester-based materials and non-circular cross-section fiber, and thus has enhanced hardness and sound absorption as well as improved formability, and that can be applied for an automotive undercover.

A flooring member comprising: a structural member having one or more ducts extending along a length of the flooring member, each of the one or more ducts forming a hollow cavity extending along a length of each duct, the one or more ducts being integrally formed with the flooring member.

Vehicle sensor system and methods of use

A vehicle assembly includes a sensor system of a bumper or a skid plate. The sensor system includes a plurality of first sensors and at least one second sensor. The sensor system emits a first electrical field from each of the first sensors when the plurality of first sensors are active and the at least one second sensor is inactive. The sensor system emits a second electrical field when the plurality of first sensors are active and the at least one second sensor is active. The first electrical field projects a first distance from the skid plate. The second electrical field projects a longer, second distance from the skid plate.
