IMPACT FEATURES
A vehicle platform with a variety of impact safety features including front and rear impact features as well as side impact features designed to protect the passenger compartment as well as the battery compartment and vehicle chassis components. Some features may include crumple zone components, deflectors and modular energy absorption units.
INTEGRATED FRAME AND BATTERY PACK STRUCTURE FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES
Integrated frame and battery pack structure for electric vehicles are disclosed. An example electric vehicle includes a frame of the electric vehicle to which a body of the electric vehicle is coupled, the frame including longitudinal frame rails, a mid-section of the frame not including frame cross-members. The example electric vehicle includes a battery pack mounted in the mid-section of the frame, the battery pack including battery pack cross-members, each of the battery pack cross-members connected to a top surface of the longitudinal frame rails and a bottom surface of the longitudinal frame rails.
MODULAR TRAILER
A modular trailer comprising a base frame and a side-rail assembly configured to be secured to the base frame. The side-rail assembly comprises an elongated side rail and a plurality of uprights extending from the side rail. The modular trailer further comprises a plurality of connection assemblies configured to secure the side-rail assembly to the base frame. Each connection assembly comprises an outer connection plate rigidly secured to an associated upright of the plurality of uprights and one or more fasteners configured to extend through the base frame and into engagement with the outer connection plate.
Car provided with a rear subframe
A car having: a frame; two rear drive wheels; two rear suspensions, which support the two rear wheels; a drivetrain having two axle shafts, which transmit the motion to the rear drive wheels; a rear subframe, which is fixed to the frame in four fixing points through the interposition of elastic isolating elements, directly supports at least part of the drivetrain, and provides a coupling for the rear suspensions. The four fixing points are substantially arranged at the same vertical height. The frame has two “C”-shaped elements, each having its two ends in the area of two fixing points. Two stiffening beams are provided, each arranged longitudinally and screwed to the frame in the area of the ends of a corresponding “C”-shaped element.
Joint for mounting an elongate element to a structural element in a vehicle
A joint for mounting an elongate element to a structural element in a vehicle, comprising a first and a second clamping portion, tightening elements configured to tighten the first and second clamping portions towards each other so that when the elongate element is arranged between the first and second clamping portions, the elongate element becomes clamped, a first and a second support portion, wherein the first and second support portions are spaced from each other and extend from the first clamping portion to the second clamping portion, wherein when the elongate element is arranged between the first and second clamping portions and the tightening elements tighten the first and second clamping portions, then at least one of the first and second clamping portions is configured to press at least one of the support portions towards the other one so that the elongate element becomes laterally contacted.
Assembly for securing a vehicle battery on a body of a motor vehicle and method for mounting a vehicle battery in a motor vehicle
An assembly for securing a vehicle battery on a body of a motor vehicle, includes a securing device releasably secured on a body part of the vehicle body and an adhesive material. The adhesive material is arranged between a housing of the vehicle battery and the securing device in order to connect the housing to the securing device by way of a material bond. The adhesive material is arranged over a retention element portion of a retention element.
Connection device for connecting a vehicle crash absorbing member to a vehicle body component
The proposed connection device includes attachment portions that are separated from each other such that the one of the crash absorbing member and the vehicle body component is insertable between the attachment portions. This allows for a transverse slidable motion of the one of the crash absorbing member and the vehicle body component with respect to the main body. Thus, the crash absorbing member or the vehicle body component, whichever is going to be attached to the attachment portions, is slidable in transverse direction, i.e. substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of e.g. the crash absorbing member.
Vehicle component mounting unit
A vehicle component mounting unit for mounting a component assembly to a frame with a closed cross-section including a mounting plate formed with at least one bolt engagement hole and conjoined to the frame, and a weld nut formed with a nut hole connected to the bolt engagement hole, welded to the mounting plate, and fitted to a mounting hole formed in the frame.
UNMANNED VEHICLE CHASSIS AND UNMANNED VEHICLE
The disclosure relates to an unmanned vehicle chassis (1). The unmanned vehicle chassis (1) comprises at least two chassis units (11), the at least two chassis units (11) being spliced to form the unmanned vehicle chassis (1). The unmanned vehicle chassis (1) is formed by splicing at least two chassis units (11), so unmanned vehicle chassis (1) of different sizes can be formed by splicing different numbers of chassis units (11) to carry cargo boxes of different sizes, without the need to specially design and develop different chassis for cargo boxes of different sizes, thereby reducing the research and development cost. The disclosure also relates to an unmanned vehicle.
CHASSIS FRAME MODULE FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A chassis frame module for an electric vehicle may include: a main frame; a front frame connected to the front of the main frame; and a rear frame connected to the rear of the main frame. The front frame may include: a first front frame disposed at the front of the main frame; a second front frame extending from the first front frame toward the main frame; and a front joint part configured to connect the main frame and the second front frame.
