Instrument Panel Support For A Motor Vehicle
An instrument panel support 1 is used for installation between the two A-pillars 2, 2.1 of a motor vehicle. The instrument panel support 1 comprises a cross-member 3 which extends between the A pillars 2, 2.1 and which has at least one connecting element 4, 4.1 on each of its two ends for connecting the instrument panel support 1 to the vehicle by means of screw fasteners 10. The connecting members 4, 4.1 have a U-shaped main body 6 connected to the cross member 3, its longitudinal axis aligned in the z-direction, with at least one support insert extending between the two wings 7, 7.1 and penetrated by a fastener 10, for connecting the instrument panel support 1 on the vehicle side. The opening side of the main body 6 points in the transverse direction to the longitudinal extent of the cross-member 3. The support insert and the wing 8 of the main body 6 have fastening apertures aligned with one another at least in regions for the purpose of passing through the shank of a fastener 10.
ADVANCED VEHICLE BODY FRONT SIDE FRAME STRUCTURE
The present disclosure relates to a structure of a vehicle body front side member and relates to a technical field of automobile design and manufacture. A vehicle body front side member structure includes a front side member assembly, an upper side beam assembly, a front side member connection plate assembly, an upper side beam front assembly, a front anti-crash beam energy absorption box assembly, and a front anti-crash beam assembly. According to the front side member structure, it is possible to optimize the transmission route of the crash force and effectively improve the capability of the energy absorption of the front end of the vehicle body to reduce the load to the cabin stringer so as to reduce the invasion amount of the front cabin into the passenger cabin or avoid the front cabin from invading into the passenger cabin in order to improve the safety of the driver.
VEHICLE BODY REAR PART STRUCTURE
A vehicle body rear part includes a side sill, a rear wheel house, a rear side frame, and a close plate. An outer curve part and an inner curve part are provided in a region close to a front part of the rear wheel house of the rear side frame. An outer ridge line that extends straight in a vehicle forward direction from a position substantially directly above the vicinity of a rear end portion of the outer curve part of the rear side frame and an inner ridge line that extends to be curved to a vehicle forward side substantially along the inner curve part at a position substantially directly above the inner curve part of the rear side frame are provided on the close plate. The outer ridge line and the inner ridge line converge in an inner region in the vehicle width direction of a joint part of the rear side frame and the side sill.
