Automobile member
Provided is an automobile member including a hat-shaped first member that has a first flange, a second flange, a first wall portion erected from the first flange, a second wall portion erected from the second flange, and a web connecting the first and second wall portions to each other; a second member that is spot-joined to the first and second flanges; a first joining plate that is joined to inner wall surfaces of the first wall portion and the second member; and a second joining plate that is joined to inner wall surfaces of the second wall portion and the second member.
Vehicle sub-frame
A vehicle sub-frame may include a reinforcement member having a honeycomb structure between upper and lower panels to secure the overall rigidity of the sub-frame, wherein the reinforcement member is additionally disposed in the sub-frame to secure the torsional and flexural strengths of the sub-frame.
Motor vehicle reinforced structural element system
A system of a reinforced structural element of motor vehicle include: structural element includes a first and second sheet, wherein the sheets are connected to one another at first and second joining points, wherein the sheets form elongate cavity in region between the joining points, and wherein second sheet has, in region between first and second joining points, a bulge with first leg arranged at first joining point and with second leg arranged at second joining point; a reinforcing element includes a first and second side walls connecting the wall arranged in cavity of structural element; and adhesive bonding reinforcing element to structural element; wherein first side wall of reinforcing element arranging the first joining point and second side wall of reinforcing element arranging the second leg of second sheet so larger portions of force acting on first joining point of reinforcing element transferring, to second leg of second sheet.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SEALED FOLDED CONNECTION
Systems and methods produce or provide a folded connection, sealed by means of an adhesive composition, between a first sheetlike element and a second sheetlike element. The systems and methods bond a second flange of the second sheetlike element with at least one layer of an adhesive composition to a first flange of the first sheetlike element, in such a way that an end of the second flange of the second sheetlike element is indented by a distance relative to an end of the first flange of the first sheetlike element. The systems and methods bead the first flange of the first sheetlike element around the second flange of the second sheetlike element and, after the beading, an adhesive-composition part is placed around an edge of the first flange of the first sheetlike element and bonded to a second surface of the first flange of the first sheetlike element.
AUTOMOBILE FLOOR PANEL AND AUTOMOBILE FLOOR PANEL MANUFACTURING METHOD
A vehicle floor panel is provided in which a honeycomb core made of metal sandwiched and adhered between two CFRP plates is one in which a large number of core units formed into a polygon shape are continuous within one plane so as to share a side of the polygon. Since closed-section parts formed by a hat-shaped cross section part formed along the side and one CFRP plate are continuous with each other at a vertex of the polygon of the adjacent core units, not only is it possible to lighten the weight by opening the interior of the polygon (P) shape core unit, but it is also possible to enhance the energy-absorbing performance by dispersing and transmitting a collision load inputted into one direction of the floor panel toward a plurality of other directions because the high strength load transmission path is continuous with other load transmission paths.
LOAD INTRODUCTION DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ADHESIVE BONDING OF A LOAD INTRODUCTION DEVICE
A load introduction device and a method for adhesive bonding of a load introduction device for fiber composite materials is disclosed. A sealant, particularly a first adhesive is used in the creation of a cavity and in the creation of a secured arrangement for the injection of adhesive into the cavity.
Exterior panel and manufacturing method of exterior panel
An exterior panel includes: a metal sheet having a curved portion; a resin structure which includes a plurality of tubular bodies having the same length in a central axis direction, top surfaces covering respective one end portions of the tubular bodies, and base portions connecting respective the other end portions of the tubular bodies and is formed with the top surfaces being brought into close contact with and joined to the curved portion of the metal sheet; and a sheet member made of a resin or paper joined to the base portions of the resin structure, in which a relationship between a tensile elastic modulus E (N/mm.sup.2) and the thickness t (mm) of the sheet member satisfies Formula (1).

Composite component for a motor vehicle
A composite component for a motor vehicle includes a first section; and a second section connected to the first section. The first section comprises a metallic material. The second section comprises a plastic. The first section has a first base region and projections provided on the first base region, wherein the projections provided on the first base region extend from the first base region to the second section. The projections provided on the first base region have undercuts, and the projections provided on the first base region are anchored in the second section in order to bring about the connection between the first section and the second section.
Bonded structure
A bonded structure is disclosed which includes a pair of members facing with each other, and a protrusion integrally formed on at least one of the members, the protrusion protruding toward another one of the members, having a predetermined height, and abutting on the another one of the members to provide a gap holding an adhesive between facing surfaces of a pair of the members to adhere and fix the members and to have a thickness of the adhesive determined by the predetermined height.
Panel retention structure
A panel retention structure includes a retention member including a head portion, a neck portion and a flange portion being provided in the aforementioned order from an end of the retention member. The neck portion includes a dimension which is set smaller than a dimension of a first hole and a dimension of a second hole, and passes through the first hole and the second hole. The head portion is in contact with a confronting surface serving as a surface of a retention wall facing a panel body in one of a state where the head portion is elastically in contact with the panel body, and a state where an elastic wall being elastically in contact with an opposing surface serving as a surface of the retention wall which opposes the panel body is provided.
