High efficiency structural building system for robotics
A robotic building system includes a first through third sets of extruded elements integrally joined at lengthwise edges and corners to rails. The second set of extruded elements has at least three adjoining sides surrounding a hollow opening, where each side is integrally joined to a rail. A third set of extruded elements has an asymmetrical inside angle shaped element formed by a first web and a second web oriented generally perpendicular to the first web, where each web is integrally affixed between a pair of opposing rails and each web shares a common rail. The rails may be tapped or drilled to accept a fastener, and each extruded element of the first set, second set and third set of extruded elements are adapted to be flush mounted to any of the other extruded elements or to the same shape extruded elements.
SURFACE ELEMENT FOR A CAMPING VEHICLE OR MOBILE HOME
The invention relates to a surface element, in particular a wall element, for a camping vehicle or a mobile home, in particular caravans, motorhomes, etc., as well as a method for its production.
REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE
A structural member comprising: (i) a first carrier and a second carrier, each carrier including a plurality of interconnecting ribs, each carrier further including one or more projections extending from exterior walls of each carrier; (ii) one or more secondary members secured to one or more surfaces of each carrier; and (iii) an adhesive material disposed on the first carrier, the second carrier, or both, wherein the first carrier and the second carrier are bonded to each other via the adhesive material.
Composite material carrying structure applied to motor vehicles
A composite material carrying structure applied to motor vehicles includes a frame, an exterior composite material panel, an interior composite material panel overlapped with the exterior composite material panel and wrapping the frame together with the exterior composite material panel, and an R-corner outer frame, overlapped on the exterior composite material panel, and on which the interior composite material panel is overlapped. The end of the R-corner outer frame and the end of the exterior composite material panel are bent oppositely and fitted, so that a flow direction of water is effectively guided during drenching, and the waterproof effect is improved. With the frame wrapped by the interior and exterior composite material panels, the overall effect of strengthening a car body is achieved, stress of the car body is effectively shared, the light weight of the car body is improved, and energy consumption is reduced.
ASSEMBLY FOR CARRYING ELONGATED MEDIA ALONG A VEHICLE FRAME AND A VEHICLE
An assembly for carrying elongated media along a vehicle frame, the assembly comprising a structurally rigid elongated beam member having a longitudinal extension along a longitudinal direction of the assembly; two or more vehicle frame attachment members configured to attach the assembly to the vehicle frame; and at least one elongated media attachment member configured to attach at least one elongated media to the assembly, and an elongated media integrated in the structurally rigid elongated beam member. The disclosure also relates to a vehicle comprising a vehicle frame.
Modular structural composites for automotive applications
A modular composite structure containing multiple individual composite structures attached together. The individual composite structures form sections of a vehicle component. The composite structures are lightweight and made of materials that can function to absorb energy or attenuate vibration or noise. The composite structures contain a core material adhered to a fiber layer and a fiber reinforcement region for improving the strength and stiffness of the modular composite structure. The modular composite structure can include multiple floor pan segments that can be attached to a central composite structure that can be a utility tunnel or housing.
Vehicle roof assembly and method for manufacturing the same
An embodiment roof assembly for a vehicle includes a roof panel including a core, an upper skin attached to a top surface of the core, and a lower skin attached to a bottom surface of the core, a face sheet disposed above the roof panel, and a foam layer interposed between the roof panel and the face sheet.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VEHICLE SUBASSEMBLY AND FABRICATION
A vehicle chassis is provided. The vehicle chassis may comprise one or more vehicle chassis modules or chassis substructures that are formed from a plurality of customized chassis nodes and connecting tubes. The customized chassis nodes and connecting tubes may be formed of one or more metal and/or non-metal materials. The customized chassis nodes may be formed with connecting features to which additional vehicle panels or structures may be permanently or removeably attached. The vehicle chassis modules or chassis substructures may be interchangeably and removeably connected to provide a vehicle chassis having a set of predetermined chassis safety or performance characteristics.
Structural, fiber reinforced composite panel rigidly attached to an interface surface
A structural component comprises a body structure defining an interface surface. A composite panel comprises a plurality of reinforcing fibers encapsulated in a resin. An adhesive affixes the composite panel to the interface surface of the body structure. The adhesive has a stiffness in a range from 50 MPa to 2 GPa.
