BAT SYSTEM WITH PERFORMANCE LIMITING STRUCTURE AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
A bat, which can have a hollow barrel and an internal assembly configured to resist deformation of the hollow barrel, is disclosed. The internal assembly can include multiple rods disposed longitudinally within the hollow barrel. The internal assembly can include a deformable ring having a substantially circular outer wall having a diameter less than an inner diameter of the hollow barrel and multiple holes, with each hole configured to at least partially receive a rod. The bat can have an end cap including end cap holes extending partially through the end cap, with each end cap hole configured to at least partially receive a rod.

Adjustable knob assembly for a ball bat
An adjustable knob assembly for a ball bat having a tubular handle portion extending about a longitudinal axis. The assembly includes a base and an annular knob. The base includes an end wall and a cylindrical outer wall extending from the end wall. The outer wall is configured to be fixedly coupled to a proximal end of the handle portion of the bat. The outer wall includes a first set of interlocking structure. The annular knob includes an inner radial surface defining a central opening. The inner radial surface includes a second set of interlocking structure. The first and second sets of interlocking structure are positionable between at least a first locked knob position and a second locked knob position.

Pine tar applicator for baseball bats and method of use
A pine tar applicator for use on baseball bats, includes a base sheet having a first side and a second side, a pine tar layer coating at least a portion of the first side of the base sheet, a cover sheet overlying and covering the pine tar layer, an adhesive layer overlying at least a portion of the second side of the base sheet, and a protective sheet overlying and covering the adhesive layer. In use, the protective sheet is removed and the base sheet is wrapped about the baseball bat with the adhesive contacting the bat. The cover sheet is then removed exposing the pine tar layer.
BAT WITH DISCS IN ITS BARREL PORTION
An apparatus for a ball bat and a ball bat comprising at least one disc member that defines an outer diameter corresponding to an inner diameter defined by the ball bat to create a fit within close proximity between the at least one disc member and the ball bat. The at least one disc member can be located within the barrel portion of the ball bat. The at least one disc member can include at least one solid disc member that is located within a sweet spot of the ball bat. In some embodiments, the apparatus for a ball bat and the ball bat can further include an at least one insulation foam member. The at least one insulation foam member can separate the at least one disc member. The at least one insulation foam member can define a hollow center portion.

Bat
A bat includes a handle having a proximate end and a distal end, a barrel having a hollow portion that accommodates the distal end, and a first damping section at least partially sandwiched between the handle and the barrel in the interior of the hollow portion. The material of the first damping section has a D hardness of 60 or more, a loss coefficient tan of 0.11 or more as determined under conditions of a temperature of 20 C., a frequency of 150 Hz, and the amount of strain 3000 ST, and a loss coefficient tan of 0.09 or more as determined under conditions of a temperature of 20 C., a frequency of 500 Hz, and the amount of strain 3000 ST.
