TRUCK BED STORAGE SYSTEM
The disclosed truck bed storage system provides multiple different use configurations, including a cap, a rack, and a bed cover. Elements of the system are reconfigurable to assemble the different use configurations. The system is easily assembled, reconfigured, or disassembled. The system includes a modular frame which connects to the truck bed and is used in the rack and cap configurations. A bed cover is removably attached to the top of the frame in the cap configuration, and connects to the top of the bed in the bed cover configuration. Removable panels attach to the frame in the cap configuration.
Modular systems for use with vehicles, for mounting accessories and related methods
A modular support system for a vehicle with multi-component support structures that include a pair of side supports, a pair of base supports, and a horizontal support suspended between the pair of side supports. Each side support can include a vertical portion, a base portion extending from the vertical portion and coupled, directly or indirectly, to the base support.
RECONFIGURABLE ROOF RACK WITH A MULTIFUNCTIONAL SURFACE
Systems and methods for attaching a reconfigurable roof rack to a vehicle include a rear portion of the reconfigurable roof rack with a multifunctional front surface. The multifunctional front surface has a first function as an airflow guide (e.g., based on non-perpendicular angle the multifunctional front surface forms with the roof) when the reconfigurable roof rack is in a first configuration and a second function as a mounting surface when the reconfigurable roof rack is in a second configuration. The second configuration includes a front portion of the reconfigurable roof rack with a first side and a second side coupled to the multifunctional front surface. The front portion has a slanted front surface which functions as the airflow guide when the reconfigurable roof rack is in the second configuration. The roof of the vehicle can have a removable portion disposed below the front portion of the reconfigurable roof rack.
Truck rack assembly
A truck rack assembly (1) having bed rail caps (3) that attach to bed rails (34) of a truck (2), said bed rail caps having receivers (10) into which uprights (4) with bayonet-style pins (15) can be inserted, said uprights having height adjustable sleeves (6) with attached cradles (14) for holding crossbars (5), The receivers and bayonet-style pins form a male-female quick disconnect system by pins (32) in a receiver socket (30) engaging a channel (25) in the bayonet-style pin.
RECONFIGURABLE VEHICLE BODY
A reconfigurable vehicle body having a main body including at least one elongate main beam, a load deck mounted relative to the at least one elongate main beam and at least one forward headboard structure at a forward end of the load deck is disclosed. At least two pairs of fixed posts provided in a rear portion of the load deck, one fixed post of each pair located at an opposed lateral side of the load deck and extending upwardly relative to the load deck, a wall-receiving assembly positioned relative to each of the fixed posts and at least one removable wall member locatable relative to at least a pair of wall-receiving assemblies to define at least one receiving compartment within the width of the load deck is present.
DEPLOYMENT SYSTEM FOR ROLLING TARP SYSTEMS
A rolling tarp locking system comprising a bow including a cam plate defining a cam profile having a proximal end and a distal end; and a locking assembly including an arm configured to move between a locked position and an unlocked position, the arm having a follower configured to move relative to the cam profile of cam plate from the proximal end and to the distal end such that when the arm moves from the unlocked position to the locked position the bow is pulled toward the locking assembly to a fixed position.
Sport utility vehicle storage system
A vehicle storage system may include a deck configured to span substantially a total width of a vehicle bed, and a drawer assembly including a supporting frame and a tub, the drawer assembly configured to extend, via a guide channel assembly, in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle bed past the deck, and configured to retract, via the guide channel assembly, under the deck, the drawer assembly configured to detach from the guide channel assembly and be removed from the vehicle bed, the deck configured to rotate between a closed position and an open position relative to the drawer assembly. The vehicle storage system may further include a cart affixed to a bottom portion of the drawer assembly.
Truck bed closure
A retractable truck bed closure is disclosed herein. The retractable truck bed closure comprises a pair of frames that extend across a truck bed between sidewalls of the truck bed. The closure may be moved between a stored configuration and an extended configuration along the pair of frames to open, and close, a portion of the truck bed, respectively. The frames may be attachable to the truck, or may be integrated into portions of the truck, such as the sidewalls of the truck bed or the rear of the cab of the truck.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSPORTATION OF SPORTING EQUIPMENT
Methods and apparatus for transportation of equipment, generally but not necessarily limited to sporting equipment. Generally, the apparatus described herein comprises a collapsible or foldable frame adapted for installation in the bed of a pickup truck or similar vehicle, where the apparatus can be unfolded to a “deployment configuration” in which elongated equipment may be securely attached to the apparatus for transportation. The apparatus generally comprises two opposing rails with bracing and equipment storage elements mounted in between, foldable at about a midpoint for easy of storage when not in use.
EXTENDABLE RAIL ASSEMBLY FOR CARGO BED OF A VEHICLE
A vehicle assembly includes a cargo bed having a first and a second sidewall. A rail assembly is disposed on the first sidewall. The rail assembly is movable between an extended position and a retracted position relative to the first sidewall. An actuator system raises and lowers the rail assembly to move the rail assembly between the extended position and the retracted position.
