The housing includes a lower housing and an upper housing and may be positioned on friction-reducing members that reduce friction between the housing and trailer. The reduction of friction facilitates the housing to slide more efficiently on the trailer. A safety lever and linkage system operates to safely move roof support structures and raise/lower the upper housing. An adjustable cargo system is attached to a roof on the housing. The adjustable cargo system is adjustable to receive and/or secure different sizes of cargo.

A rear cargo bed in the form of a flat surface is arranged on a rear frame portion of the vehicle frame unit. As such, the performance of the multipurpose vehicle for carrying cargo is improved.

The rail includes a lower extension having a first side and a second side, opposite the first side, extending along a length; an upper extension extending generally perpendicularly from the length of the lower extension, supportable by the vehicle; a clamp track located on the first side of the lower extension and extending along the length of the lower extension for receiving one or more clamps to secure the rail to the vehicle; and a lower accessory track located on the second side of the lower extension and extending along the length of the lower extension for receiving an accessory within the cargo bed.

The first panel is pivotably coupled to a cab of the vehicle and is configured to pivot relative to the cab about a first axis. The method further includes selectively pivoting a second panel of the cab back assembly relative to the first panel. The second panel is pivotably coupled to the first panel and is configured to pivot relative to the first panel about a second axis that is spaced from the first axis.

Reconfigurable bed rack system and method

A reconfigurable bed rack system and methods of manufacture and use that is dynamic, adaptable, lightweight, and easy to install are provided. The bed rack system may include a plurality of U-shaped modular telescoping support structures that allow for a height adjustment to the rack without uninstalling the rack from the truck bed. Through the telescoping feature of the U-shaped support structures, a height dimension of the bed rack system may be increased or decreased. One or more side and/or upper rails may extend between the plurality of U-shaped modular telescoping supports for attaching one or more mounting brackets to secure equipment, tools and/or supplies to the bed rack system. The rack system may also include a tire hoist bracket assembly including a hoisting system to store a spare tire against an upper, inner surface of the rack system.

The disclosed product is made of two components, a rail system, and a customizable storage unit. In a pickup truck embodiment, the rail system sits on top of vertical rails disposed on or in a pickup truck bed that can run from the cab to the tailgate. A storage unit sits on the rails or tracks and is moved by a motorized or manual transport system.
