A support frame assembly configured to strengthen an upper frame portion of a frame of a vehicle, comprising a first frame member having a first end and a second end, and a second frame member having a first end and a second end, wherein both the first ends of the first and second frame members are configured to couple to a front half of the frame and the second ends of the first and second frame members are configured to couple to the front half of the frame to strengthen the upper frame portion, at least one of the first and second ends of each of the first and second frame members including at least one mechanically coupled joint configured for coupling each of the first and second frame members to the front half of the frame.

A system for providing multiple variations of shock tower assemblies with a common vehicle body is provided. The system includes the common vehicle body including a vehicle body member comprising a plurality of bolt holes and a shock tower assembly. The shock tower assembly includes a bolt-on shock tower cap comprising a shock receiving cavity, a plurality of bolt fasteners attaching the bolt-on shock tower cap to the vehicle body member at the plurality of bolt holes, and shock tower components including a shock device. The shock tower components are configured to matingly engage with the shock receiving cavity.

A stabilizer designed to be used in a single shear fastening configuration to secure a composite panel to an adjacent material is disclosed. The front side of the composite panel is flush with the adjacent material and the back of the composite panel is flush with the stabilizer. As a result, the adjacent material and the stabilizer sandwich the composite panel and mimic a double shear configuration. The stabilizer helps to prevent fastening devices (e.g., screws, rivets, nails) from pulling through the composite panel and adds to the mechanical strength of the fastening application.

A floor securing apparatus comprises a riser slot formed in a floor riser, extending from a top surface toward a bottom surface of the floor riser. The floor riser is configured to support a floor sheet. The apparatus further includes a key including a locking head and at least one anchor tab, where the key is slidable into the riser slot and configured to engage a portion of the floor sheet when slid into the riser slot to prevent vertical movement of the floor sheet relative to the floor riser.
