Retractable lighting device for illuminating trailers and other areas
Disclosed are various embodiments for a retractable lighting device for illuminating trailers and other areas. A retractable lighting device is configured to transition between collapsed and non-collapsed states where the retractable lighting device may include one or more light emitting components. A controller may be communicatively coupled to the driving mechanism, wherein the controller is configured to transmit a signal to the driving mechanism that causes the driving mechanism to transition the retractable lighting device from a collapsed state to a non-collapsed state and vice versa.
MULTI-DIMENSIONAL LOAD STRUCTURE
A load structure may include a first honeycomb layer, a second honeycomb layer, and a plurality of intermediate layers. The plurality of intermediate layers may be disposed between the first and second honeycomb layers. The intermediate layers may include one or more adhesive layers, a fiberglass layer, and a paper layer.
Multi-hinge tonneau cover
A tonneau cover comprising: (a) a plurality of panels; (b) one or more hinges located between and connecting each panel of the plurality of panels; and (c) one or more rotary locks located on a first side, a second side, or both sides of one or more of the one or more hinges, one of the plurality of panels, or both, the one or more rotary locks including: (i) one or more panel caps; and (ii) one or more rail locks that create a lock with the one or more panel caps when the tonneau cover is in a closed position so that the tonneau cover is prevented from being opened proximate to the one or more hinges.
Multi-hinge tonneau cover
A tonneau cover comprising: (a) a first panel and a second panel; (b) a hinge located between and connecting the first panel and the second panel; and (c) a cover extending over all or a portion of the first panel, the second panel, or both, and the hinge so that, when the first panel or the second panel rotates about the hinge, the cover forms a portion of the hinge and maintains the integrity of the hinge.
Multi-hinge tonneau cover
A tonneau cover comprising: (a) a plurality of panels; (b) one or more hinges between each panel of the plurality of panels so that the plurality of panels are rotatably connected together, wherein some or all of the one or more hinges include: (i) a plurality of expansion links that are movably interconnected together, some of the plurality of expansion links including: (1) one or more expansion projections; (2) one or more pockets that receive all or a portion of the one or more expansion projections from an adjacent one of the plurality of expansion links; and (3) one or more expansion stops that restricts movement of the one or more expansion projections from the adjacent one of plurality of the expansion links that extend within the one or more pockets; wherein the one or more hinges rotate so that the one or more hinges form of angle of about 90 degrees or more and about 225 degrees or less.
Joining a rail member to a composite trailer structure
A cargo vehicle configured to support cargo includes a frame assembly with at least one rail member defining a portion of an outer perimeter of the trailer. The cargo vehicle also includes a composite member adjacent to the frame assembly and a mounting member removably coupled to the at least one rail member and permanently coupled to the composite member.
SPATIAL INTEGRATION MODULE
A spatial integration module includes a chassis, a wall body, a top cover and supporting devices. Each supporting device comprises a lower fixed portion and an upper movable portion. The wall body is detachably connected to the chassis and/or the supporting devices. The fixed portions are mounted on the chassis. A fixed rotation structure is arranged at a position where each movable portion is connected to the corresponding fixed portion. Each movable portion is turned between a horizontal direction state and a vertical direction state by the rotation structure.
STAMPED REAR FRAME BOLSTER
A cargo transport rear frame includes a pair of posts, an upper cross member, and a rear bolster. The posts are spaced in a width direction, and extend in a height direction. The upper cross member extends along the width between the posts. The rear bolster extends between lower ends of the posts such that the rear bolster is spaced below the upper cross member. The posts, the upper cross member, and the rear bolster bound the rear cargo opening. The rear bolster has a first side facing in a forward direction, and the rear bolster has a second side facing in a rearward direction to be exposed to a rear side of the cargo transport rear frame. The rear bolster comprises a sheet metal stamping including a base surface and a relief embossed in the rearward direction from the base surface to form a loading dock engagement feature.
STAMPED REAR FRAME BOLSTER
A rear bolster for a cargo transport includes a sheet metal stamping having a forward side configured to face under the cargo transport, and a rear side configured to face rearward of the cargo transport. A vertically-extending base surface is formed by the rear side. A left taillight mount is provided adjacent a left widthwise end of the sheet metal stamping. A right taillight mount is provided adjacent a right widthwise end of the sheet metal stamping. A relief is embossed rearwardly from the base surface to form a loading dock engagement feature. The relief includes a first portion extending over and/or under the left taillight mount, a second portion extending over and/or under the right taillight mount, and a third portion continuous with the first and second portions and extending between the left and right taillight mounts.
Spline joints and container having same
A container including a first panel with a first edge having a first protrusion with a first contoured profile with at least one projection, a second panel with a second edge having a second protrusion with a second contoured profile with at least one projection, and a spline with a first channel that defines a recess with an interior profile, and a second channel separate from the first channel that defines a recess with an interior profile. The first and second channels receive the first and second protrusions, respectively, such that the first contoured profile is complementary to a portion of the interior profile and the second contoured profile is complementary to a portion of the interior profile. The first and second panel include a mid-section extending from the first and second edges, respectively. The first and second edges have a greater thickness than the thickness of the mid-sections.
