BATTERY ENERGY SYSTEM FOR INTERMODAL CONTAINERS
Battery energy systems having a housing and a battery management system for supplying power to a refrigerated container are disclosed. A battery management system includes a battery set, a battery management controller, an insulation monitoring device, a plurality of DC contactors, a DC/DC converter, a DC/DC controller, an inverter, an IoT gateway, a control panel, and a cooling system all interconnected. A battery energy system includes mounting brackets to mount the battery energy system to the nose or underside of a refrigerated container.
Box body for a commercial vehicle
A box body for a commercial vehicle, which has a surface element having a panel, includes a core layer, a dimensionally stable structural layer and an intermediate layer, one side thereof being adjacent to the core layer and an opposite side being adjacent to the structural layer. An integrally joined connection is produced between the structural layer and the side of the intermediate layer and between the core layer and the side of the intermediate layer. The intermediate layer has a thickness smaller than the thickness of the structural layer and consists of a material having a density that is higher than the density of the core layer. The side of the intermediate layer adjacent to the core layer has an affinity to the foamed plastic of the core layer and the side of the intermediate layer adjacent to the structural layer has an affinity to the structural layer.
Insulating panel for a commercial vehicle superstructure and commercial vehicle with a commercial vehicle superstructure
An insulating panel for a commercial vehicle superstructure, with an outer top layer and an inner top layer, including more than two plies, and with a core layer in a thermally insulating material between the top layers. At least one of the top layers is constructed as an at least three-ply sandwich, including an outer ply in light metal material associated with the respective outside of the insulating panel, an inner ply in light metal material associated with the core layer and a core ply having an integrally joined connection to the outer ply and the inner ply, including a core ply material having a higher strength than the light metal material of the outer and inner ply.
Transportation refrigeration bulkhead
A bulkhead for a transport refrigeration unit (TRU) is provided. The bulkhead is configured to create optimal air flow on both a front side (e.g. the side where the condenser unit is located) and a rear side (e.g. the side where the evaporator unit is located) of the bulkhead, provide structural support for various components of the TRU, and provide a thermal barrier between the front side and the rear side. Also, the bulkhead is configured to include an access door and a service opening that allows a user to access TRU components located on the rear side of the bulkhead via the front side of the bulkhead. Further, the rear side of the bulkhead is configured to provide a removal support shelf that can be used as a resting surface or a sliding surface for removing components located on the rear side of the bulkhead out of the TRU from the front side of the TRU via the service opening by removing the access door.
GULL WING DOOR-TYPE DANGEROUS ARTICLE STORAGE APPARATUS
The present invention relates to a gull wing door-type hazardous material container system that allows for easy loading and unloading of intermediate bulk containers and minimizes a loss of cold air fully filling the inside for safe work when only some of a plurality of intermediate bulk containers is selectively loaded.
The gull wing door-type hazardous material container system according to the present invention includes: a body that has a loading space therein to load airtight containers keeping a hazardous material and is opened at both sides; a pair of gull wing doors that is independently operated to open/close both sides of the body; a partition plate that is longitudinally disposed in the body and divides the loading space into independent spaces of a first loading space and a second loading space; and cooling units that are disposed in the first loading space and the second loading space, respectively, to independently supply cold air, in which the first loading space and the second loading space can be independently sealed by the gull wing doors.
SYSTEMS OF PREVENTING ENGINE BEARING DAMAGE
A system for protecting an engine from damage due to vibration while the engine is not operating is provided. The system includes an engine having a crankshaft, at least one piston, at least one bearing, a lubricating fluid source, and a fluid pump associated therewith and a controller operationally connected to and configured to control the fluid pump. When the system is in a first mode, the controller is configured to control the fluid pump in a duty cycle to maintain a predetermined minimum fluid pressure of the lubricating fluid such that a lubricating fluid film is present between the at least one bearing and the crankshaft while the engine is not operating.
ELECTRIC TRUCK
An electric truck has a chassis, on which a driver's cab with a motor compartment containing an electric motor is disposed in the front of the electric truck, and in the rear a cargo body rests on the chassis. The cargo body substructure sits on vehicle longitudinal beams of the chassis. The cargo body bottom sealing the cargo body on the underside is spaced above the vehicle longitudinal beams to ensure clearance for a sufficient spring travel. A battery housing with at least one integrated battery is disposed in the intermediate space between the vehicle longitudinal beams and the body bottom, so that a larger installation space is available for the batteries and therefore a greater range for the electric truck. The battery is protected in this region and, moreover, the insulation of the battery housing simultaneously contributes to insulation of the cargo body disposed above the battery housing.
FLOOR ASSEMBLY AND FLOOR SECURING APPARATUS
A floor securing apparatus comprises a riser slot formed in a floor riser transverse to a longitudinal axis of the floor riser, the floor riser configured to support a floor sheet and a key including a locking head and at least one anchor tab, wherein the key is slidable into the riser slot transverse to the longitudinal axis of the floor riser, wherein the key is configured to engage a portion of the floor sheet to prevent vertical movement of the floor sheet relative to the floor riser.
Quick-Install Van
Presented is an improved cargo trailer and refrigerated trailer construction that in addition to providing an aerodynamic trailer also provides for a system that may be quickly assembled. The quick-install trailer includes six rigid frames including a roof frame, a floor frame, a front and rear frame, and two side frames. The frames interconnect with each other and provide support for the sidewalls that may be insulated. Rivets or self-tapping screws may be used to secure the various components together.
COMPOSITE REFRIGERATED TRUCK BODY AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A vehicle is disclosed having a composite cargo body assembled in a manner that may improve thermal efficiency, fuel efficiency, and costs of manufacturing.
