This device including: obstacle detection means which are configured to detect an obstacle lying in the path of the autonomous agricultural robot, a processing unit configured so that when an obstacle is detected by the obstacle-detection means, the unit logs the data collected by the obstacle-detection means, and/or processes the data collected by the obstacle-detection means and determines at least one characteristic of the detected obstacle.

A front farm implement connecting mechanism is disposed at a front end of the front portion of the tractor frame structure and an operator seat mounted to the front portion of the tractor frame structure in close proximity to the front end of the front portion of the tractor frame structure such that the operator of the row-crop tractor is enabled to reach a front farm implement connected to the front farm implement connecting mechanism.

The driver can thus look to the right, and also at an implement disposed behind the front tractor part, below the connecting element. This enables precise maneuvering when tilling the soil for rows of plants.

Each lift cylinder has a ram movable within a housing of the lift cylinder. A wheelbox mounts to the wheel and couples with the spindle. First and second strut rods connect the wheelbox with the ram of one of the lift cylinders, and third and fourth strut rods connect the wheelbox with the ram of a second lift cylinder. The strut rods allow the spindle to move relative to the wheelbox while also transferring pivot torque between the wheelbox and the spindle.
