Traveling Vehicle
Provided is a traveling vehicle which is configured to be manually operable and to be capable of being prevented from collision, and which can be assembled more easily. This traveling vehicle is provided with a traveling vehicle body on which a first control unit for controlling traveling is mounted, and an operation unit which enables the manual operation of the traveling vehicle body. The operation unit is provided with a housing having a connection section removably connected to the traveling vehicle body. The housing is integral with manual operation sections enabling an input of instructive information for traveling into the first control unit, and also with an obstacle sensor for detecting an obstacle present in the direction of movement of the vehicle body and transmitting the result of detection to the first control unit.
Self-propelled machine
A self-propelled machine for agriculture forms an agricultural gantry system. The machine has a support structure for receiving attachment devices, at least one drive unit with a control module, a support structure forming an agricultural gantry system and a plurality of ground supports for moving the support structure. The agricultural gantry system is convertible from a road orientation defining a driving width (FB) to a working orientation having a substantially larger working width (AB).
Mounting Assembly for a Steerable Wheel with Variable Track Width
A wheel-mounting assembly for a utility vehicle includes a chassis and a wheel support assembly mounted to respective outboard ends of first and second telescopic axle assemblies. The first and second telescopic axle assemblies are laterally spaced from one another and are each secured to the chassis. The first and second telescopic axle assemblies each include a respective actuator arranged to control extension and retraction thereof for steering and track-width control.

A wheel assembly for an agricultural implement. The agricultural equipment includes a laterally-extending toolbar with one or more agricultural tools extending from the toolbar. The wheel assembly comprises a wheel configured to rotate along a ground surface. The wheel assembly additionally comprises a base bracket configured to be rigidly secured to the toolbar. The wheel assembly further comprises a wheel bracket adjustably engaged with the base bracket. Adjustment of the wheel bracket with respect to the base bracket causes a corresponding lateral shifting of the wheel with respect to the toolbar.
Length-variable and pitch-adjustable wheelbase combine
A combine harvester with a variable length wheelbase. For example, a combine harvester may have a chassis defining a forward end and a rear end, a feeder house at the forward end of the chassis, a first set of ground-engaging elements supporting the forward end of the chassis, and a second set of ground-engaging elements supporting the rear end of the chassis. The second set of ground-engaging elements are configured to move forward and rearward relative to the chassis.

The operator's seat S is configured to be provided in the vehicle (V) at at least one of a first seating position (Sf) corresponding to a first driving position, and a second seating position (Sr) corresponding to a second driving position, where the second seating position (Sr) is opposite to the first seating position (Sf). The vehicular structure (C) is configured to be moved between at least one lowered position in which each final drive housing (FH) is locked to vehicular structure (C) at corresponding first locking positions, and at least one raised position in which each final drive housing (FH) is locked to vehicular structure (C) at corresponding second locking positions.
Mounting assembly for a steerable wheel with variable track width
A wheel-mounting assembly for an agricultural utility vehicle includes a chassis and a telescopic axle arrangement fixed to the chassis. The telescopic axle arrangement includes an inner axle telescopically received in an outer axle, which is fixed to the chassis. A wheel-support assembly is mounted to an outboard end of the inner axle. A steering-control actuator is connected between the inner axle and the wheel-support assembly. The steering-control actuator is connected to the inner axle through an opening provided in the outer axle, which allows the steering-control actuator to translate together with the inner axle when track width is adjusted.
WORK VEHICLE
A work vehicle includes: a body; left and right front wheels provided for the body; and left and right rear crawler units provided for the body. The rear crawler units each include: a drive wheel provided for a rear axle of the work vehicle; a front idler wheel forward of the drive wheel; a rear idler wheel backward of the drive wheel; a plurality of roller wheels between the front idler wheel and the rear idler wheel; a crawler belt wound around the drive wheel, the front idler wheel, the rear idler wheel, and the plurality of roller wheels; a track frame swingable about a swing shaft that extends in a left-right direction of the body and holding the front idler wheel, the rear idler wheel, and the plurality of roller wheels; and a position change mechanism configured to move the swing shaft in a front-back direction of the body.
SELF-PROPELLED PLATFORM FOR MONITORING FIELD CROP PHENOTYPE
A self-propelled platform for monitoring field crop phenotype is provided. The monitoring platform includes a traveling and steering mechanism, wheel track and ground clearance adjustment devices, damping devices, and a case. The traveling and steering mechanism includes wheel side motors, wheels, and torque motors. The wheels are connected to respective upright posts of the platform through respective rigid independent suspensions. Each upright post is of sleeve structure and includes an upper sleeve and a lower sleeve. A corresponding damping device is connected between the upper sleeve and the lower sleeve. The wheel track and ground clearance adjustment devices are configured for adjusting the height of the case and the tracks between the wheels. The lower ends of the wheel track and ground clearance adjustment devices are rotatably connected to respective upright posts, and the upper ends are rotatably connected to the case.
VEHICLE HAVING A TILTING AXLE AND RELATED METHODS
A vehicle includes a chassis, an axle pivotally coupled to the chassis such that the axle can tilt from side to side relative to the chassis, a tilt-angle sensor configured to detect a tilt angle of the axle relative to the chassis, and steerable hubs carried by the axle. Each hub is configured to rotate about steering axes relative to the axle, and a steering-angle sensor is configured to detect a steering angle of at least one hub relative to the axle. A control system limits a maximum steering angle of the hubs based at least in part on a size of tires or tracks carried by the steerable hubs and the detected tilt angle of the axle. A method includes detecting a tilt angle of the axle relative to the chassis and limiting the maximum steering angle of the hubs.
