Highway trailer with slide-out undercarriage
A slide-out undercarriage mounted on an underside of a first trailer pulled by a highway tractor. The slide-out undercarriage is adapted for attaching a rear of the first trailer to a front of a second trailer. The slide-out undercarriage includes a fixed undercarriage frame mounted on an underside of a first trailer. A front axle with front wheels is mounted on a front axle frame and a rear axle with rear wheels is mounted on a rear axle frame. The rear axle frame includes a fifth wheel adapted for engaging a king pin on the front of the second trailer. A pair of first slide out tubes are attached to the front axle frame. A pair of second slide out tubes are attached to the rear axle frame. The first and second slide out tubes provide for allowing an operator of the first trailer to adjust the front and rear axles in various load positions under the first trailer when pulling the second trailer.

Stretch Trailer with Roller Mechanism
A trailer moveable by a cab includes: a first section including a cavity and a second section at least partially positioned within the cavity, where the second section is longitudinally movable relative to the first section, such that a length of the trailer is variable. The second section includes a cart including at least one wheel configured to roll along a floor of the cavity and a height-variable member co-acting with the at least one wheel. The second section is configured to move longitudinally relative to the first section by the cart rolling along the floor of the cavity. A towing system and a method for adjusting a length of a trailer moveable by a cab are also disclosed.
PIN JOINT TRAILER SHIM SYSTEM
A trailer having a hitch assembly, a deck assembly, an axle assembly and a structural joint positioned between the deck assembly and the axle assembly is provided. The deck assembly having a first support beams and a second support beams supporting decking. The first support beam and the second support beam can have a positive camber. At least one shim plate can be rotatable between a joint position, wherein the at least one shim plate is positioned in the structural joint, and a storage position, wherein the at least one shim plate is rotated out of the structural joint to adjust the amount of camber in the support beams.
Towing systems
A portable towing system for a motorcycle or similar vehicle, such as a trike, the frame of which can be lowered to ground level to facilitate loading of the motorcycle or similar vehicle by pushing or riding the vehicle onto the frame without risk of the vehicle falling off the sides of a steeply inclined ramp. The towing system may be assembled, raised, lowered, and disassembled by a single person, if desired. The raising and lowering of the frame is effected by a lifting and lowering mechanism connected with the wheel assemblies.
TELEMATICS ROAD READY SYSTEM INCLUDING A BRIDGE INTEGRATOR UNIT
A trailer monitoring system for monitoring a trailer having at least one trailer sensor has a bridge integrator unit, configured to couple with the trailer, including a wireless data transceiver electrically coupled with a microcontroller and capable of wirelessly communicating data over a short-range wireless protocol; the bridge integrator unit receives data existing in a first messaging format that is compatible with and used by one or more trailer sensors via a short-range wireless protocol, extracts the data, encodes the data into a second messaging format that is compatible with a master control unit having a telematic data transceiver capable of cellular data communications, and transmits the data in the second messaging format from the bridge integrator unit to the master control unit via a short-range wireless protocol.
Extendable trailer for freight containers
A trailer for transporting a container has a frame mountable to a vehicle. The frame has a rear frame section mountable above a rear wheel assembly of the trailer, and a front frame section connected to and disposed forward of the rear frame section in a forward direction of travel of the vehicle. The front frame section has a king pin mountable to a hitch of the vehicle and a forward-most end. The forward-most end is moveable relative to the kingpin in a direction parallel to the forward direction of travel to extend and shorten a length of the front frame section between a fully-lengthened configuration and a fully-shortened configuration.
Wheeled assembly for item transport
A transport assembly for a shipping module which has a chassis; a towing element secured to the chassis; two opposed wheels mounted on the chassis; a support assembly secured to the chassis and configured to be positioned in a mating relationship with a shipping module proximate to a lower transverse edge of the shipping module; means for removably securing the support assembly to a shipping module; and a displacement actuator secured between the chassis and the cradle, said displacement actuator for varying the ground clearance of a shipping module when secured to the support assembly.
Pivoting drive socket
A pivoting drive socket has a cylindrical body within a sleeve, studs on the sleeve, the studs fitting into a slotted bracket, and the bracket joining to a handle. The slot has an elongated, rectangular shape. The body rotates within the sleeve and has a tab upon one end that receives an external tool. The tab has a shape with at least two flat portions. The bracket permits the handle to engage the tab. The bracket has an opening reinforced by a ring that admits the tab for connection into that handle. The tab has at least two chamfers that grip the bracket during usage. The tab rotates the body which engages a pipe that fits upon a mechanism to raise and to lower trailer legs. The invention allows a trucker to use manual effort or to use power to raise or to lower trailer legs.
