Mounting device for a support device
A mounting device for a support unit for commercial vehicles includes at least one supporting area, a first fixing area and a second fixing area, wherein the supporting area is configured to absorb the supporting forces in the supporting direction from the support unit or a support tube, wherein the first fixing area and the second fixing area are configured to fix the mounting device to a semi-trailer, wherein the first fixing area has at least one hole, wherein the second fixing area has at least one hole, and wherein the holes are configured to receive a fastener.
Cap security system
The present system generally relates to a tamper resistant cap that prevents unwanted access to a semi-tractor trailer's 7 ways connection. The system includes a controller that can be operated remotely to transmit signals to an actuator within the cap. The actuator operates a lock to secure the cap in the closed position and selectively unlock the lock to allow the cap to be opened.
System and method for waste removal with an extended slope container
A waste removal system with a trailer for the storage of materials such as waste or rubble, wherein the trailer has a front wall, a rear wall, and plurality of side walls with an extended slope on at least one of the walls to increase the volume capacity therein. The trailer may additionally contain a slanted access door or ramp which alternatively raises and lowers, allowing for ease of ingress and egress of the trailer volume. The waste removal system may additionally include a transport vehicle with a grappler mounted at a distal end of a boom, wherein the grappler grasps waste and deposits the waste into the previously-mentioned trailer for transport to and from a desired location.
VEHICLE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CARGO TRANSLOADING
A vehicle according to a vehicle system and method includes a chassis, a coupler, and a platform on the chassis. The coupler is mounted to the chassis at a first end of the chassis and is configured to releasably connect the vehicle to a second vehicle. The platform is for supporting a cargo container and includes a base portion and a bridge member. The bridge member is located at an end of the platform and is extendable relative to the base portion from a retracted position to an extended position to lengthen the platform. The bridge member in the extended position projects beyond the first end of the chassis, above the coupler, towards the second vehicle for establishing a bridge to transload the cargo container from the platform to the second vehicle.
Systems and methods for automatic air and electrical connections on autonomous cargo vehicles
The technology relates to autonomous vehicles having hitched or towed trailers for transporting cargo and other items between locations. Aspects of the technology provide a smart hitch connection between the fifth-wheel of a tractor unit and the kingpin of a trailer. This avoids requiring a person to make physical pneumatic and electrical connections between the fifth-wheel and kingpin using external hoses and cables. Instead, the necessary connections are made internally, autonomously. For instance, the fifth-wheel may provide air pressure via one or more slots arranged on a connection surface, and the trailer is configured to receive the air pressure through one or more openings on a contact surface of the kingpin. An electrical connection section of the fifth-wheel may also provide electrical signals and/or power to an electrical contact interface of the kingpin. Rotational information about relative alignment of the trailer to the tractor unit may also be provided.

Cylindrical Semi-Trailer
A cylindrical cargo container is formed of longitudinal, extruded arcuate panels joined pairwise at abutting edges to form a cylindrical tube. The container is mountable on a separate wheeled chassis to form a semi-trailer or railcar, or a chassis integral with a truck. The container may be substantially smooth on inner and outer surfaces, to provide optimal aerodynamics and freedom of motion of cargo within the container. The panels may have inner and outer skins bridged by multiple webs. Such structure may provide protection from punctures to the outer or inner skins. The container is useful to transport waste including municipal or industrial waste, and may be part of a tipper trailer. The container, trailer, truck, or railcar may be used with a compactor for compacting the waste within the container.
Remote controllable hybrid energy storage vehicle
An energy storage vehicle includes a solar cell, a power storage equipment, an engine, a transmission module, an electric motor, a pump, a hydraulic motor, a remote control module, and a generator. The transmission module includes an input terminal, a first output terminal, a first clutch, a second output terminal, and a second clutch. The input terminal of the transmission module is driven by the engine. The power storage equipment is configured to store the electrical energy generated by the solar cell and the generator. The power storage equipment is electrically connected to the first electric motor. The hydraulic motor drives multiple wheels of the energy storage vehicle under the control of the remote control module. The remote control module is configured to control the power output of the hydraulic motor and the orientation of the wheels of the energy storage vehicle.
