GOLF CLUB HEADS AND METHODS TO MANUFACTURE GOLF CLUB HEADS
Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head includes a body portion with an interior cavity, a face portion, a first port, and a second port connected to the interior cavity. The second port includes first and second openings, a second-port first portion, and a second-port second portion. The second-port first portion extends from the first opening to the second opening, and the second-port second portion extends from the second opening to the interior cavity. A portion of the interior cavity below a horizontal midplane of the body portion and between the second port and a heel portion edge of the body portion is closer to an outer surface of the back wall portion than the second opening of the second port. Other examples and embodiments may be described and claimed.
MULTI-MATERIAL GOLF CLUB HEAD
A multi-material golf club head having an improved performance is disclosed. More specifically, the present invention relates to a multi-material golf club head having a metallic frontal striking face portion and aft body portion with a crown opening and a sole opening that are covered by a composite crown sub-shell and a composite sole sub-shell, respectively.
GOLF CLUB HEADS AND METHODS TO MANUFACTURE GOLF CLUB HEADS
Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion with an interior cavity and face portion, and weight portion and a wall portion on a bottom portion of the body portion extending into the interior cavity. A polymer material may be in the interior cavity located between and coupled to the wall portion and the weight portion. The wall portion may be farther from the face portion than to the weight portion. The weight portion may be closer to a front portion than to a rear portion of the body portion. A distance between the weight portion and the face portion may be greater than a distance between the weight portion and the wall portion. Other examples and embodiments may be described and claimed.

GOLF CLUB HEAD HAVING MULTI-MATERIAL FACE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A golf club with a multi-material face is disclosed herein. More specifically, the golf club head in accordance with the present invention has a multi-material striking face portion that is made out of a backing layer having a frontal pocket, made out of titanium, and an insert, made out of a composite material, adapted to be inserted into the frontal pocket. The frontal pocket and the insert could have complementary dovetail shaped undercut features to create a mechanical bond between these two components.

A golf club head including a face defining a loft plane, a rear, and a crown, the crown having a turbulator comprising a plurality of ridges. Each ridge includes a front surface having a first end nearest the face, a second end nearest the ridge apex, and a rear surface nearest the rear portion of the club head. The turbulator is positioned in a forward two-fifths portion of the crown in a front end to a rear end direction. The ridge apex of each ridge is positioned within the first 50% of the ridge length.

A hollow head includes a face portion, a crown portion, a sole portion, and a hosel portion. The crown portion forms a crown outer surface and a crown inner surface. The crown portion includes a crown atypically-shaped portion and a crown rib that is disposed on the crown inner surface. The crown atypically-shaped portion is a crown projection that forms a projection on the crown outer surface while forming a recess on the crown inner surface, or a crown recess that forms a recess on the crown outer surface while forming a projection on the crown inner surface. The crown rib is positioned on a crown center side relative to a center of the crown atypically-shaped portion.
GOLF CLUB HEADS
Some disclosed golf club heads include body having at least one raised sole portion and a cantilevered ledge extending down around a perimeter of the club head below the level of the raised sole portion. Some disclosed golf club heads include one or more sole openings in the body and a sole insert that is mounted inside the body over the sole openings. The sole can include weight tracks as well, and a rear weight track can extend between a toe side sole opening and a heel side sole opening. A crown insert can also be included that is mounted over an upper opening in the body.
