TRACK ASSEMBLY FOR TRACKED VEHICLE
The present invention relates to a track assembly for a tracked vehicle, which, particularly, comprises: a support shaft disposed to be orthogonal to a traveling direction of a work body; a connecting collar for connecting the support shaft to the work body while supporting both ends of the support shaft; a rotary roller fitted on the outer periphery of the support shaft and rotating while supporting the inner peripheral surface of a track; a first detection unit disposed between the support shaft and the rotary roller to measure the number of rotations of the rotary roller or the acceleration thereof; a second detection unit for measuring the temperature of a lubricant applied between the support shaft and the rotary roller; a third detection unit disposed on the rotary roller to measure a wear state of the rotary roller; and a communication unit for communicating, to the outside, a result value measured by the first detection unit or the third detection unit. Therefore, the track assembly can improve the efficiency and reliability of work.
Track roller assembly
A track roller frame is provided for an endless track. The track roller frame includes a shaft including a body portion and a flange. A first bearing assembly rotatably supports a first rim portion on the shaft and a second bearing assembly rotatably supports a second rim portion on the shaft. Each of the first bearing assembly and the second bearing assembly includes a first leg that extends in the axial direction and is disposed along the body portion of the shaft and a second leg that extends in the radial direction and is disposed along the flange. A respective inner surface of each of the first rim portion and the second rim portion that faces the bearing assembly includes a plurality of lubricant pockets for receiving lubricant. Each of the lubricant pockets is configured and arranged such that lubricant contained therein is in fluid communication with the bearing assembly.

Drive unit for tracked vehicle and vehicle provided with drive unit
A drive unit for a tracked vehicle includes a track support beam, at least one drive wheel, a set of support wheels and an endless track, the drive wheel being arranged to drive the endless track running over the drive wheel and the set of support wheels. The drive wheel and the support wheels are rotatably attached in the track support beam. The drive unit further includes and electric motor attached to the drive wheel and integrated in the track support beam, and a support beam integrated lubrication system having a pump unit arranged for pressurized supply of lubricant to parts of the drive unit in need of lubrication.

Track roller having collar forming oil void for improved seal lubrication
A track roller includes a roller shell, a roller shaft extending through the roller shell, and a collar. The collar includes a center body interference-fitted upon the roller shaft, and a seal carrier. A clearance extends radially between a center body outer surface and a face seal assembly held in axial compression between the seal carrier and the roller shell. An oil void is formed in the center body and fluidly connected to the clearance to provide an increased oil volume for lubrication and heat-dissipation.

ROLLER TEMPERATURE MONITORING
Overheating of the rollers in a track on mobile equipment can result in failure of the track. Accordingly, embodiments are disclosed for a temperature monitoring device that can be installed within an oil fill hole of each roller. Each temperature monitoring device may monitor the oil temperature within a respective roller, and communicate that oil temperature or other temperature indication to a controller. The controller may alert a human operator or another system when the temperature of a roller exceeds a predefined threshold that is indicative of overheating.

TRACK TENSIONING SYSTEM WITH SLIDING WELDMENT
A track frame with a tensioning system. The track frame has a first section, connected to a number of rollers, including a front roller, and a nested second section attached to a rear roller. The orientation of the first and second sections, and thus the tension on a track, is adjusted by a grease cylinder. The track frame has an indicator window, which displays the position of a plate indicative of tension on the track. When the plate is in alignment with the window, tension is appropriate. In addition, the position of the indicator window within a larger window in the first section is indicative of the stroke of the grease cylinder, which may indicate the need to replace the track.
