Track system for a vehicle having at least three axles, vehicle comprising the same and pivoting assemblies adapted for connection between a frame of a track system and an axle of a vehicle
A track system for a vehicle having at least three axles is disclosed. The track system includes a frame to which sprocket, idler and support wheel assemblies are connectable, an endless track and a pivoting assembly. The pivoting assembly has a casing connectable to a second axle and at least one pivotable member that has first and second portions respectively pivotally connected to the casing and to the frame. The at least one pivotable member is pivotable between first and second positions about a longitudinally extending pivot, in response to which the first portion is displaced laterally relative to the second portion, and pivotable between third and fourth positions about a lateral pivot axis in response to which the first portion is displaced longitudinally relative to the second portion. A pivoting assembly, a pivoting assembly including a resilient assembly, and a vehicle having the track system are also disclosed.

Endless-track traveling apparatus, and movable body of generator inspection robot including the same
An endless-track traveling apparatus includes a casing, pulleys having axes arranged in parallel in the casing, a motor for driving the pulleys, and an endless track wound on outer circumferential surface portions of the pulleys to rotate together with the pulleys and move on a traveling target. The endless-track traveling apparatus further includes: a plate-shaped member disposed in contact with the endless track and opposed to the traveling target in a space surrounded by the endless track, and fitted in the casing; a magnet fixed in the casing to attract the traveling target; and an elastic member having one end in contact with an inside of the casing and another end in contact with the plate-shaped member, and urging the plate-shaped member in such a direction as to press the plate-shaped member against the endless track.
TRACK ASSEMBLY HAVING A ROTATION LIMITING DEVICE AND VEHICLE HAVING SAME
A track assembly for a vehicle is provided. The vehicle has a suspension arm for connecting the track assembly to the vehicle. The track assembly includes a frame, a plurality of track-contacting wheels, and an endless track disposed around the track-contacting wheels. The track-contacting wheels include: a drive wheel rotationally connected to the frame and at least one idler wheel rotationally connected to the frame. The drive wheel defines a drive wheel axis about which the drive wheel is rotatable. The drive wheel is adapted for driving the endless track. The track assembly also includes a rotation limiting device for limiting rotation of the track assembly relative to the suspension arm of the vehicle. The rotation limiting device is connected to the frame of the track assembly and is configured to be connected to the suspension arm of the vehicle.

Transformable track assembly
An endless track assembly that mounts to a vehicle drive linkage and is operative to vary the track geometry or profile and terrain contact surface to differing terrains. The track assembly includes controlled idler wheel rocker arm suspensions for pivoting associated idler wheels at an assembly framework. In one assembly, a wheel and tire are supported to a track drive sprocket. The shape of the track assembly can be transformed to alternately engage and disengage the track or wheel with the terrain. In other constructions, the geometry of the track can be varied between triangular and circular shapes. The assemblies include pivotally controlled idler wheel suspensions that cooperate with a drive sprocket supported expansible member to transform the track profile.
