TRACK SYSTEM
A track system for use with a vehicle includes an attachment assembly connectable to the chassis of the vehicle having a first pivot extending vertically and defining a yaw pivot axis of the track system, and a second pivot extending laterally and defining a pitch pivot axis of the track system. A frame assembly is disposed laterally outwardly from the attachment assembly and connected thereto. The frame assembly includes at least one wheel-bearing frame member. The track system further includes at least one actuator connected between the attachment assembly and the frame assembly for pivoting the frame assembly about the yaw pivot axis, a leading idler wheel assembly at least indirectly connected to the at least one wheel-bearing frame member, a trailing idler wheel assembly at least indirectly connected to the at least one wheel-bearing frame member, at least one support wheel assembly, and an endless track.
CRAWLER TYPE TRAVELING BODY AND TRAVELING APPARATUS
A crawler type traveling body includes a drive wheel, an in-wheel motor incorporated in the drive wheel, a plurality of rotating wheels disposed below the drive wheel, a crawler, and a tensioner. The crawler is wound around the drive wheel and the rotating wheels and configured to be rotated by the drive wheel. The tensioner is coupled to a drive shaft of the in-wheel motor and configured to press the drive wheel against the crawler and apply tension to the crawler.

Wear inserts cast in a wear surface of a drive component
A drive component is disclosed. The drive component may include a base of a first material having a first hardness and a plurality of wear inserts of a second material having a second hardness greater than the first hardness. The plurality of wear inserts may extend from an interior of the base to an exterior surface of the base. The base and the plurality of wear inserts may be a composite casting.
Tracked Drag Force Generating Device
A device for generating a pulling, or drag, force. The device consists of a single large track, powered by a power source located on a bottom wall above said track; of which the power source is an electric or combustion engine, mechanically connected with a multitude of rollers. The device additionally consists of an elongated handle with a generally t-shaped or generally u-shaped distal end so as to be received and grasped by a human user. Additionally, side walls and an optional front and/or overhead wall may be utilized to protect the power source from the elements.
