TRACK AND TRACK ROLLER
20170361884 · 2017-12-21 ·

A system comprises a track a track roller. In some examples, the track roller comprises an axle member and at least three flange members. The axle member defines a first axis. The at least three flange members extend from the axle member substantially perpendicularly to the first axis. A first portion of the axle member is disposed between a first pair of adjacent flange members of the at least three flange members. A second portion of the axle member is disposed between a second pair of adjacent flange members of the at least three flange members. Each of at least two of the at least three flange members and the first and second portions are configured to contact the track when the track is mounted on a vehicle suspension system including the track roller.

Wear Prediction and Notification System

An ID tag is disposed on a plurality of components of a machine. A controller stores a usage threshold for each component, receives signals from an ID tag reader, and associates an identification number from each ID tag with a component of the machine. The controller determines previous usage data for each component, determines an extent of usage of the machine since generation of the previous usage data, determines current usage data for each component based upon the extent of usage of the machine and the previous usage data, and compares the current usage data for each component to the usage threshold for each component. The controller generates an alert for each component in which the current usage data for that component exceeds its usage threshold and transmits the alert to a system remote from the machine.

Roller device for track-type work vehicle, roller shell unit and roller shell

A roller device includes a shaft, a bushing, a roller shell, a retainer, and an elastic member. The shaft has a rotation axis. The bushing has smaller-diameter parts on both ends and a larger-diameter part arranged between the smaller-diameter parts with stepped portions interposed therebetween, and is fitted over the outer circumference of the shaft to be rotatable relative to the shaft around the rotation axis. The roller shell has a cylindrical shape, and is fitted over the outer circumference of the smaller-diameter parts of the bushing to abut on the stepped portions. The retainer is formed annularly, is fixed detachably to an end face of the bushing, and abuts on the end face of the roller shell with the elastic member interposed therebetween.

In accordance with the present disclosure, a track chain assembly for a work vehicle may comprise of a link set, a unitary link, and a bushing assembly. The link set may include a first link and a second link. The unitary link may include a single link. The bushing assembly may couple the link set and the unitary link for relative rotation between the link set and the unitary link.

Fluid-filled track wheel for improved movement of an object across a non-planar area
11679824 · 2023-06-20 ·

A track wheel for moving an object across a surface having a non-planar obstruction to allow smoother, easier and safer movement of the object over the obstruction. The track wheel has a track frame, a first wheel assembly, a second wheel assembly and a fluid-filled track assembly. The track frame interconnects the two wheel assemblies. The track assembly encircles the two wheel assemblies and frame in an endless loop manner. A mounting assembly connects the track frame to the object. The track assembly has a track link assembly and a pair of dampener tubes in the track link assembly. The track assembly passes into and out of a shield of the wheel assemblies that cleans the track assembly.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BRAKING A TRACK MODULE OF A WORK VEHICLE
20230182833 · 2023-06-15 ·

A system for braking a track module of a work vehicle includes a frame, a track module supported relative to the frame, and a computing system. The track module includes an idler wheel, roller wheels, a track extending in an endless loop around the idler and roller wheels, and a tensioning actuator configured to adjust a tension on the track. The tensioning actuator increases the tension on the track from a lower tension to a higher tension when a braking operation in association with the track module is initiated and subsequently reduces the tension on the track from the higher tension to the lower tension when the braking operation is ceased.
