Tracked vehicle and chassis therefor
A tracked vehicle with a chassis comprising an upper frame structure connected to a lower frame structure, the lower frame structure spanning a longitudinal distance along a longitudinal direction of the vehicle, wherein over a first portion of the longitudinal distance, the lower frame structure overlaps with the upper frame structure and wherein over a second portion of the longitudinal distance, the lower frame structure does not overlap with the upper frame structure. The tracked vehicle may also comprise an operator cabin, power plant mounted to the upper frame structure and a plurality of track assemblies for traction of the tracked vehicle. Each track assembly is mounted to the lower frame structure of the chassis and comprises a drive wheel; an end wheel; and a plurality of support wheels therebetween; and an endless track disposed around the plurality of wheels for engaging a ground on which the tracked vehicle travels.
CRAWLING WELDING ROBOT AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
A crawling welding robot, including an adjustable magnetic adhesion module, wheel-tracked walking mechanisms, a crawler frame, and a welding load device, wherein the welding load device is disposed on the crawler frame; the wheel-tracked walking mechanisms are disposed at two opposite ends of the crawler frame for supplying power for crawling of the crawler frame; and the adjustable magnetic adhesion module is disposed on the crawler frame and disposed between the two wheel-tracked walking mechanisms.
Track Drive Mode Management System and Methods
A method for managing a drive mode of a tracked vehicle, comprising the step of reading an output of a sensor and in response to the output of the sensor performing a control action to manage the drive mode of the vehicle.

Rear track assembly for a vehicle
A track assembly to be mounted on a vehicle. The track assembly has a frame, a drive wheel rotationally mounted to the frame, a front idler wheel assembly mounted to the frame, a rear idler wheel assembly mounted to the frame, and a track mounted around the front idler wheel assembly, the rear idler wheel assembly, and the drive wheel, and being in driving engagement with the drive wheel. The track has a plurality of traction lugs distributed along an outer surface of the track. Each traction lug of the plurality of traction lugs has a height in a range of 1.6 inches to 2.5 inches. A distance between a foremost point on the outer surface of the track and a rearmost point on the outer surface of the track is between 54 inches and 65 inches.

CRAWLER TYPE TRAVELING BODY AND TRAVELING APPARATUS
A crawler type traveling body includes a drive wheel, an in-wheel motor incorporated in the drive wheel, a plurality of rotating wheels disposed below the drive wheel, a crawler, and a tensioner. The crawler is wound around the drive wheel and the rotating wheels and configured to be rotated by the drive wheel. The tensioner is coupled to a drive shaft of the in-wheel motor and configured to press the drive wheel against the crawler and apply tension to the crawler.

FLIP-FLOP TRACK IDLERS
A track idler includes a body of revolution defining an axis of rotation, a radial direction, and a circumferential direction disposed about the axis of rotation. A first axial extremity and a second axial extremity are disposed along the axis of rotation. The body of revolution further includes an outboard track contact surface that is disposed axially proximate to the first axial extremity, and an inboard slot is disposed axially proximate to the second axial extremity.
VERTICAL IDLER ADJUSTER FOR UNDERCARRIAGE SYSTEM IN TRACK-TYPE MACHINE
A vertical idler adjuster includes a cam assembly having a cam supported in an adjuster frame for rotation about a cam axis, and an idler support surface having a vertical location that is adjusted relative to the adjuster frame when the cam is rotated. The cam assembly includes a screw linkage having a first set of teeth fixed to rotate with the cam, a drive shaft, and a second set of teeth on the drive shaft and in mesh with the first set of teeth such that rotation of the drive shaft rotates the cam to adjust a vertical position of an idler in an undercarriage system.
