MOBILE OBJECT AND ROBOT APPARATUS
To provide a mobile object and a robot apparatus including a leg that is prevented from interfering with the outside without deteriorating usability. A mobile object includes: a main body portion; a plurality of legs connected to the main body portion via joints rotatable about an axis extending in a first direction that is parallel to a traveling surface; and an exterior portion that covers both sides in the first direction of the main body portion and an upper side of the main body portion opposite to a side near the traveling surface to enclose the main body portion and the plurality of legs.

According to an embodiment, a robot includes a supporter disposed in the lower portion of a body to be spaced apart from a rear joint and a front joint and having a length shorter than a length of the rear joint and a length of the front joint; and a processor configured to perform a rear joint raising mode when a moved distance of the body is within a set distance or the body is stationary during driving of a front drive motor, and the rear joint raising mode is a mode in which a rear joint motor raises the rear joint such that a rear wheel which is connected to the rear joint is spaced apart from the ground.

According to an embodiment, a robot includes a supporter disposed in the lower portion of a body to be spaced apart from a rear joint and a front joint and having a length shorter than a length of the rear joint and a length of the front joint; and a processor configured to perform a rear joint raising mode when a moved distance of the body is within a set distance or the body is stationary during driving of a front drive motor, and the rear joint raising mode is a mode in which a rear joint motor raises the rear joint such that a rear wheel which is connected to the rear joint is spaced apart from the ground.
Mobile platform
A mobile platform intended for civilian, industrial, research or other use. An ambulation system or mobile platform such as for traveling over uneven terrain includes one or more leg arrangements attached to a main body or chassis. In an embodiment, a leg arrangement comprises one or more legs, such as legs that rotate in the same and singular direction around their respective rotary joints when the vehicle is moving in a single direction. The rotational axis for both legs is located near each other and preferably coaxially and allows ground contact of two or more legs at all times.
Mobile platform
A mobile platform intended for civilian, industrial, research or other use. ROBOT DEVICE AND ROBOT CONTROL METHOD
In a robot device that identifies an obstacle on the basis of detection information of a sensor, highly accurate robot control by correct obstacle identification is realized without erroneously recognizing a leg, an arm, or the like of the robot itself as an obstacle. A self-region filter processing unit removes object information corresponding to a component of a robot device from object information included in detection information of a visual sensor, a map image generation unit generates map data based on object information from which the object information corresponding to the component of the robot device has been removed, and a robot control unit controls the robot device on the basis of the generated map data. The self-region filter processing unit calculates variable filter regions of different sizes according to the motion speed of the movable part of the robot device, and executes processing of removing the object information in the variable filter regions from the detection information of the visual sensor.
