Vehicle Inboard Suspension System
A vehicle suspension system is described that includes a frame, a control arm assembly, a bell crank, and a shock. The control arm assembly includes upper and lower control arms. The bell crank is disposed above the upper control arm and is pivotally coupled to the upper control arm and the frame. The shock is coupled to the bell crank and the frame, and is disposed between the bell crank and a vehicle passenger compartment. In some embodiments, the bell crank is coupled to the upper control arm by a pushrod. Additionally, in some embodiments, the frame is a unitized frame and/or includes an engine cowling, and the bell crank is coupled to the engine cowling.
Portable Hoist Assembly
A portable hoist assembly for lifting, relocating and lowering loads includes a trailer that is both wheeled and configured to couple to a vehicle. A power module, a lift arm and an actuator are coupled to the trailer. The actuator is operationally coupled to the power module and the lift arm. A fastener is operationally coupled proximate to a second end of the lift arm. The fastener is configured to couple the lift arm to a load. The actuator is positioned to motivate the lift arm and the fastener upwardly and downwardly. The load that is coupled to the lift arm is elevated from a first resting position to a raised position, repositioned by movement of the trailer, and lowered from the raised position to a second resting position.
THREE-WHEELED VEHICLE
There is provided a three-wheeled vehicle that can maintain the ground contact surfaces of wheels and the road surface in contact with each other at all times, and that can suppress direct transmission of most of an impact from the road surface to a platform. First to third wheels are attached to a body frame that is rigid. The platform and the body frame are connected to each other by a connecting structure. First to third three degree of freedom non-restricted connecting mechanisms and first to third three degree of freedom restricted connecting mechanisms that form the connecting structure are deformed to allow the platform to make a bouncing motion, a rolling motion, a pitching motion, and a combined motion thereof within a restricted range when an impact is applied to the body frame from the road surface.
Vehicle
A portion of a body cover which is not movable relative to a body frame defines a space to guide air to an air cleaner. When a vehicle is in a condition that the body frame is in an upright state and is viewed from the front in a front-rear direction of the body frame, the space is at least partially situated at least one of above a lower end of an upper cross member in an up-down direction of the body frame, on the left of a left edge of a linkage in a left-right direction of the body frame, and on the right of a right edge of the linkage in the left-right direction of the body frame.
Three wheeled vehicle
A three wheeled vehicle is disclosed having a radiator positioned forward of an engine and coupled to the engine for cooling the engine. A front radiator shroud is positioned over the radiator on a front side and a rear radiator shroud is positioned over the radiator on a rear side. The rear radiator shroud has a rear baffle plate directing air downwardly and under the operator's compartment.
Tiltable motorcycles with two front steering wheels
Motorcycles are provided which include a frame, two front steering wheels, a steering pipe rotatably connected to the frame and rigidly connected to two supporting assemblies, one for each front steering wheel and a steering group consisting of two pairs of transversal armsupper front, lower front, upper rear and lower reararranged inverted at the opposite sides of a central steering pipe and laterally connected through two lateral posts. On each of the supporting assemblies the fixed portions of two telescopic elements may be constrained. Each pair of telescopic elements may be cantilever-mounted with respect to the steering wheel.
Systems and apparatus for a three-wheeled vehicle
An apparatus includes a vehicle frame, a swing arm and a fuel tank. The vehicle frame includes a front portion and a rear portion and defines a longitudinal centerline therebetween. The front portion is configured to support a recumbent seat. The rear portion is configured to be coupled to the swing arm and. The swing arm defines a longitudinal centerline and includes a wheel mounting portion configured to be coupled to a wheel assembly. The wheel mounting portion defines a radial axis that is substantially coaxial with the longitudinal centerline of the vehicle frame in at least one plane. The fuel tank is coupled to the rear portion of the vehicle frame such that the fuel tank is above the longitudinal centerline of the swing arm.

When a vehicle is in a condition that the body frame is in an upright state and is viewed from the front in a front-rear direction of the body frame, the space is at least partially situated at least one of above a lower end of an upper cross member in an up-down direction of the body frame, on the left of a left edge of a linkage in a left-right direction of the body frame; and on the right of a right edge of the linkage in the left-right direction of the body frame.
Vehicle energy storage system
A vehicle energy storage system is disclosed herein that addresses at least some of the issues described above. The system includes an energy storage compartment with an access mechanism. Safety mechanisms are provided that ensure energy cartridges are properly installed in the compartment, that the access mechanism properly closes, and that notify a user when the cartridges are improperly installed and/or are faulty.
THREE-WHEELED VEHICLE
A three-wheeled vehicle is disclosed having a vehicle frame supported by front ground engaging members and a single rear ground engaging member. The vehicle includes an engine positioned forward of an operator area and a swing arm coupled to the single rear ground engagement member. The operator area of the vehicle may include seating for a driver and a passenger.
