Modular ground vehicle and flight vehicle sharing system

A modular flying car includes a ground vehicle and a flight vehicle. The ground vehicle includes a chassis, a first cabin and a landing platform for landing the flight vehicle. The flight vehicle includes a second cabin and a flight driving device. The flight vehicle is capable of landing and taking off vertically on the landing platform and connected with the ground vehicle by interlocking. Users can choose to travel by the ground vehicle or the flight vehicle, and can transfer between the ground vehicle and the flight vehicle, to solve the traffic jam problem and make the realization of the flying car more feasible. A flying car system and a flying car sharing method are also disclosed.

A modular transportation system to transport one or more persons and/or objects. The system may include a pod with wall segments that mount together to form an interior space to house the one or more persons and/or objects. The wall segments are modular and configured to connect together in a variety of different configurations to selectively configure the interior space. Vehicles are each configured to individually connect to the pod and to transport the pod from a first location to a second location. At least one of the vehicles is configured to transport the pod by land and at least one of the vehicles is configured to transport the pod by air.

Determining bias of vehicle axles

Techniques for diagnosing and disambiguating a bias in one or more axels of a bidirectional four-wheel drive vehicle. In some examples, the diagnostics system may diagnose and disambiguate the bias in the two axles by collecting data related to the movement of the vehicle while the vehicle traverses a zero curvature path in a forward direction. The diagnostics system may then determine a bias in an axle acting as the rear axle based on the collected data. The bias in the axle acting as the front axle may then be determined based on the collected data and the bias in the rear axle.

Vehicle corner modules and systems and methods for installation thereof

Vehicle corner modules (VCMs) connectable to a VCM-connection interface of a reference-frame of a vehicle platform, for regulating motion of a vehicle. When a wheel is mounted on a wheel-hub assembly of the VCM, a vehicle-connection interface of the VCM is disposed within a cylindrical footprint of the wheel. At least one of the at least one subsystem of the VCM is accommodated between the wheel-hub assembly and the vehicle-connection interface. Vehicle platforms are connectable to the VCMs. The connection of the vehicle platform to the VCM may include connection of subsystems of the VCM to electronic or flow subsystems mounted on the vehicle platform by connection of two portions of a multi-interface connection-element.

A prefabricated vehicle may include a body module providing a vehicle body; a platform module having a battery and a driving wheel, and selectively fastened to the body module; a connecting portion that includes a magnetic module provided in any one of the body module and the platform module and an armature provided in a remaining one of the body module and the platform module, the connecting portion being configured such that the magnetic module and the armature face each other when the body module and the platform module are fastened to each other; and a controller connecting the body module and the platform module to each other to be easily replaceable by applying power to the magnetic module to allow the magnetic module and the armature to be connected to each other by a magnetic force.
