MOBILE OBSTACLE COURSES
Mobile obstacle courses include an expandable structure that is supported by a wheeled chassis and contains a plurality of obstacles therein. The expandable structure is configured to move between a transport state and a deployed state and includes: a central obstacle area and an outer obstacle area that is connected to the central obstacle area in the transport state and in the deployed state. In the transport state, the expandable structure has a first footprint. In the deployed state, the expandable structure has a second footprint that is larger than the first footprint.
LIGHTWEIGHT TRAILER
A trailer includes a trailer frame using suspension cables supported from vertically extending towers on opposite sides of the trailer frame and connected to distal ends of the trailer frame for supporting distal portions of the trailer frame. The trailer bed frame comprises a plurality of folding frame sections which can be unfolded into planar alignment to form the trailer frame and folded into an overlapping or stacked alignment for storage. Left and right wheels are rotatably mounted on left and right suspensions which are removably securable to left and right sides of the trailer frame. The suspensions comprise quarter elliptical leaf spring suspensions formed from curved upper and lower leaf springs spaced apart by inner and outer spacers.
Multi-function trailer
A trailer is disclosed which includes a first door with a first hinge configured to allow the first door to operate between an open position and a closed position, and a second door on the opposing side of the trailer with a second hinge configured to allow the second door to operate between an open position and a closed position. The trailer also includes a roof and a trailer tongue with a coupling configured to attach to a hitch of a vehicle. Two or more wheels are provided that are extendable from an up position to a down position. In this way, when the wheels are in the down position, the trailer is lifted off the ground. The trailer can thus change between at least three modes, including a first mode for storage, wherein the first door and second door are in the closed position and the wheels are in the up position; a second mode for ingress and egress, wherein at least one of the first door and second door are in the open position; and a third mode for travel, wherein the first door and second door are in the closed position and the wheels are in the down position.
Trailer having retractable axles
Aspects of the disclosure relate to a trailer having a frame suitable for transporting an item, such as an oil drilling pipe. The trailer includes a plurality of stabilizers for supporting the frame over a surface, at least one axle attached to a plurality of wheels. The trailer further includes an axle pin group includes first and second axle pins interconnected to respective hydraulic cylinders. The trailer further includes leaf springs connected to respective sides of the frame and mounted to the axle. Retraction of the axle pins away from the leaf springs enables movement of the frame with respect to the axle due to the weight of the frame, if the stabilizers are retracted. In this configuration, the frame can be raised and lowered with respect to the surface. Methods of use are also disclosed.
Trailer and housing system
A housing and trailer system comprising a trailer and a housing. The housing includes a lower housing and an upper housing and may be positioned on friction-reducing members that reduce friction between the housing and trailer. The reduction of friction facilitates the housing to slide more efficiently on the trailer. A safety lever and linkage system operates to safely move roof support structures and raise/lower the upper housing. An adjustable cargo system is attached to a roof on the housing. The adjustable cargo system is adjustable to receive and/or secure different sizes of cargo.
Trailer train having a lifting device
A tugger train trailer including a support frame configured as a transport material cart entrained in a trailer train, which has a chassis with at least two wheels, and a lifting device configured to adjust the height of at least part of the support frame relative to the wheels. The lifting device may include at least one rotatable eccentric disc, which is supported on a cam roller. The eccentric disc may be installed on a shaft that is driven in rotation. The cam roller may be mounted on the support frame or a part of the support frame.
Trailer
Improved trailers are disclosed having a lowering system comprising lift arms and swing arms that are operable via a plurality of cables and which allow the improved trailers to be oriented in a raised or lowered position.
Sliding sub-frame for heavy-duty vehicle suspension, including torque box, air slider pin, and shear-off nut
Improvements to a sliding sub-frame for heavy-duty vehicle suspensions include torque boxes, an air slider-pin system, and a heavy-duty shear-off nut. In the prior art, all four sliding pins are linked together with bars so if one sliding pin is stuck they are all stuck. Here, each sliding pin has a dedicated air assist bladder and is independent and can release on its own. That way, if one sliding pin is stuck, it is a much easier job to get it unstuck by moving the vehicle. The torque box relates to stress-relief measures of shear strains at critical fastened (eg., bolted) connections. The shear-off nut has a break-neck flanked between a hex head and collet nut. The clearance between the outside sidewall of the collet nut very nearly fully spans the space between the flats of a hex socket for the hex head, thereby providing light on-axis support.
