An off-road trailer includes a lower frame, a housing positioned on the lower frame, an extendible trailer tongue with a ball hitch receiver, an upper frame positioned above an upper surface of the housing, a rear frame, and at least two wheels. The upper frame and housing may store off-road gear, such as camping accessories. The housing may have one or more retractable platforms that may receive additional gear. Due to the configuration of the lower frame and the wheels, the trailer may be configured to traverse numerous types of terrain due to its lightweight frame and maneuverability.

Steerable trailer

A trailer has a frame having frame-members configured to support a container, at least a pair of traction devices rotatably mounted on the frame, and a tongue configured to be mounted on a transportation device or an implement being towed by a transportation device. The frame-members may have a three-point mount configured to support a container. The container may be configured to be interchangeable with another container. The container may be an element of a seeding apparatus, the seeding apparatus mountable on the frame-members of the frame. The trailer may have a steering mechanism for the traction devices, and may be convertible between steerable and non-steerable modes. The steering mechanism may be guidance controlled. A transverse distance between the traction devices may be adjustable and/or height of the frame in relation to the ground may be adjustable. The trailer provides greater flexibility of operation under a greater variety of conditions.

Safety actuation mechanism for trailer electric drum brake
09709113 · 2017-07-18 · ·

An electric drum brake comprises a back plate. Shoes are operatively mounted to the backplate and displaceable to a deployed condition against a wheel drum from a retracted condition. An electrically powered actuation mechanism is adapted to convert electric power to a movement of the shoes to the deployed condition. A safety actuation mechanism comprises a lever having a first end adapted to receive a mechanical force. A joint configuration connects the lever to at least one of the shoes to convert movements of the lever to movements of at least one of the shoes between the deployed condition and the retracted condition without said electric power. A biasing member produces a biasing action against at least one of the lever and the joint configuration to maintain the shoes in the deployed condition, the mechanical force being against the biasing action to maintain the shoes in the retracted condition.

Trailer for a tugger train

A trailer for a tugger train has a frame, which in the tow direction has a drawbar and a coupling, and which transverse to the tow direction has a laterally open receiving space for an inner wagon to be transported. A central web is arranged in the receiving space.
