Extendable and Retractable Tennis Racquet
One embodiment of an extendable and retractable tennis racquet contains a stringed area 01, throat 02, and shank 03 as one integral member. The handle is comprised of a shank inside of a hollow handle 05. A spring or flexible means 07 connects the shank to the hollow handle. When the racquet is swung, the centrifugal force generated pulls on the head assembly. The shank slides outward telescopically, thereby increasing the length of the racquet. At the end of the racquet swing, the restoring force of the spring overcomes the diminishing centrifugal force, which pulls the shank back to its retracted position. Other embodiments are described and shown.
BACKYARD TAILGATING GOLF GAME
A tailgating game assembly including a first platform, a second platform, a projectile a first deformable target, a second deformable target, a third deformable target, and a club. In use, the club is used to hit the projectile off of the platform towards the three deformable targets. The game is meant to simulate the chipping aspect of golf. The club included in the assembly is capable of height adjustment, and is suitable for both right and left handed competitors. The projectile included may be a golf ball, a shuttlecock, or any projectile suitable to strike with a club.
Club length adjustment device
A golf club length adjustment device for use in a golf club, including a first member affixed to a main shaft, a second member slideably coupled to the first member, the second member adapted to couple to a golf club grip, wherein the first member is configured to slide relative to the second member to change the length of the golf club; a locking system having a locked position and an unlocked position; wherein the locking system includes at least one locking member and a plurality of detents, wherein the locking member is configured to selectively engage at least one of the plurality of detents; wherein the first member is formed of a first material having a first density; wherein the locking member is formed of a second material having a second density; wherein the second density is greater than the first density.
Exercise device
In general, an exercise device includes a handle having a first end and a second end. A curved member is coupled to the first end of the handle. A movable member is coupled to the curved member, with the movable member configured to travel along a length of the curved member, where the movable member has a first portion and a second portion, and the second portion is configured to move relative to the first portion. An elongate member has a first end and a second end, and the first end of the elongate member is coupled to the second portion of the movable member. A weight is coupled to the second end of the elongate member.
CLUB LENGTH ADJUSTMENT DEVICE
A golf club length adjustment device, comprising a first member affixed to a main shaft, the main shaft configured to couple to a golf club head, a second member slideably coupled to the first member, the second member adapted to couple to a golf club grip, wherein the first member is configured to slide along a club axis relative to the second member to change the length of the golf club, a backout prevention unit configured to limit the second member from uncoupling from the first member after the golf club length adjustment device has been assembled, a decoupling tool configured to be inserted through an access hole formed in a proximal end of the grip, the decoupling tool configured to engage and deflect the backout prevention unit, disengaging the backout prevention unit from the second member, allowing for disassembly of the second member from the first member.
Adjustable length shaft and an adjustable mass for a golf club
A golf club has a first shaft coupled to a club head, a second shaft configured to slidably engage a portion of the first shaft, a grip coupled to the second shaft, and an adjustable length shaft assembly received by the second shaft and configured to allow a portion of the first shaft to slide in relation to the second shaft in a first configuration, and to restrict a portion of the first shaft from sliding in relation to the second shaft in a second configuration. The grip is restricted from rotation about the first shaft or the second shaft as the first shaft slides in relation to the second shaft.
Golf club simulation apparatus
A golf club simulation apparatus includes an elongate shaft housing having opposed lower and upper ends and defining an interior area. A club head member is coupled to the lower end of the shaft housing. A battery is situated in one of the club head member and the shaft housing. An input member configured to receive club selection data is coupled to an outer surface of the shaft housing and electrically connected to the battery. A mass variability assembly is electrically connected to the input member and includes a weight member situated in the shaft housing that is selectively movable therein according to the club selection data. An electronics module having an angular sensing sensor is situated in the club head member. A bend variability assembly is included in the shaft housing for selectively altering a feel characteristic of the shaft housing during a swing motion.
BALL COLLECTION DEVICE
A ball collection device, including a handle; a first tube segment and a second tube segment coupled substantially perpendicularly to the handle; a multi-directional roller ball coupled to the first and second tube segments; a crossbar coupled to the handle adjacent and substantially parallel to the first and second tube segments; a first arm coupled to and extending substantially perpendicular from the first tube segment; a first wing extending from the first arm that is configured to deflect objects downward; a second arm coupled to and extending substantially perpendicular from the second tube segment; a second wing extending from the second arm that is configured to deflect objects downward; and at least one roller rotatably mounted on each of the first and second tube segments and the crossbar.
Sports training and conditioning apparatus relating to golf
Disclosed embodiments include a swing training apparatus for use in sports, like golf, baseball, tennis, bowling, or the like where the swinging of an arm, a club, bat or racket is part of the sport. Embodiments of the apparatus include a base, foot receptacles, a torso stabilizer, a swing channel, and a shaft. In disclosed embodiments, the user attaches himself or herself to the torso stabilizer and grasps the shaft. The shaft may be confined to travel along the swing channel and thereby trains the user to swing with the proper motion.
