Bicycle rental system with multiple ways of renting and returning bicycles
A bicycle rental system includes a plurality of rental bicycles, each of which has a locking apparatus, a controlling apparatus, and a parking locker. The locking apparatus is operated to lock the rental bicycle, and the parking locker is able to engage and lock a dock locker of the dock. The controlling apparatus transmits signals to a control system, and receives signals from the control system through a network. The bicycle rental system may return the rental bicycle with or without the docks, and may rent the rental bicycle by a mobile device or a tag device.
SADDLED VEHICLE
A saddled vehicle includes a steering stem inserted into a center part of a top bridge and having an upper end to be fixed to the top bridge with a fastening member. The saddled vehicle includes a handle locking device placed behind the top bridge in the vehicle front-rear direction. The handle locking device has a locking member and the top bridge includes a retaining recess on the rear face for detachable engagement with the locking member. The center part of the top bridge has a through hole for penetration of the steering stem and a storage recess that stores the upper end of the steering stem and the fastening member and is open toward the upper face of the top bridge. The storage recess continues to the upper part of the through hole while having a bottom that faces upward and is located between the through hole and the wall of the storage recess. The top bridge has a drainage hole connecting the storage recess and the retaining recess.
SMART HANDLEBAR OF RENTAL BICYCLE
A smart handlebar of a rental bicycle includes a handlebar and a controlling apparatus. The controlling apparatus is connected to the handlebar, and has a processor, to which a display, a reader module, a code generating module, a transceiver module, and a positioning module are electrically connected. The code generating module generates a rental code shown on the display to be scanned by a mobile device. The reader module detects and reads a tag device to generate a rental signal accordingly. The positioning module determines a location of the rental bicycle and generates a bicycle location data accordingly. The transceiver module transmits a rental signal to a control system, and receives a control signal from the control system. The rental bicycle can be rented by either the mobile device or the tag device.

HANDLEBAR LOCKING MECHANISM, HANDLEBAR LOCKING DEVICE, AND MOVING BODY
The present invention provides a handlebar locking mechanism and a handlebar locking device, each of which (i) can be used for a moving body whose traveling direction is changed with a handlebar and (ii) which makes it difficult to unlock the handlebar by a forcible method such as breaking. The handlebar locking device (20) includes an engagement hole (11c) made in a steering column (11a), a lock pin (31) which locks a handlebar (5) in a case where a pin tip part (31a) of the lock pin (31) is engaged with the engagement hole (11c), and a lock pin drive mechanism which (i) moves, in a case where the handlebar (5) is to be locked, the lock pin (31) so that the pin tip part (31a) is engaged with the engagement hole (11c) and (ii) moves, in a case where the handlebar (5) is to be unlocked, the lock pin (31) so that the pin tip part (31a) is removed from the engagement hole (11c). The engagement hole (11c), the lock pin (31), and the lock pin drive mechanism being contained and provided in a frame (2) of a bicycle (1) so as to be not viewable from outside of the bicycle (1).
Scooter steering lock
A locking mechanism can be used for securing a scooter or other vehicle. The locking mechanism can secure a wheel of the scooter in a left or right steering position. The locking mechanism can be manually actuated by the user, such as by a foot or hand of the user. Once the wheel is secured in place, the scooter may be difficult to ride without unlocking. The locking mechanism can be unlocked through a wireless connection with a remote control (e.g. a phone).

HANDLEBAR LOCK SYSTEM
The present invention provides a handlebar lock system which (i) can be used for a moving body whose traveling direction is changed with a handlebar and (ii) includes a handlebar locking device which makes it difficult to unlock the handlebar by a forcible method such as breaking. The handlebar lock system includes: a handlebar locking device (20); and a user interface (8) which notifies a user of an operation state of the handlebar locking device (20), which operation state includes at least a lock state of the handlebar (5). The handlebar locking device (20) is provided in a frame of a bicycle so as to be not viewable from outside of the bicycle. The control section (100) identifies the operation state, and then outputs, via a communication section (101), information indicative of the operation state thus identified. A control section (8a) of the user interface (8) receives, from the handlebar locking device (20), the information indicative of the operation state. According to the information thus received, the control section (8a) notifies the user of operation information on the handlebar locking device (20).
LOCK APPARATUS AND VEHICLE USING THE SAME
A lock apparatus includes a bracket, an engagement module, and an actuation module. The engagement module is supported in the bracket and has an engagement member configured to move to a first position or a second position in a first axial direction along the first axial direction. The actuation module is connected to the bracket and includes a pushing member. The actuation module drives the pushing member to move to a first position or a second position in the second axial direction along the second axial direction. When the pushing member is at the first position in the second axial direction, the engagement member is at the first position in the first axial direction. When the pushing member is at the second position in the second axial direction, the engagement member is at the second position in the first axial direction.
