Locking system for a bicycle
A bicycle locking system for mounting in a bicycle including an axle which is rotatable around its longitudinal axis, a first locking element and a second locking element, which are configured for locking engagement with each other, where the first locking element is fixed to the axle and each of the first and second locking elements comprise an engagement surface. The locking system also includes a biasing device and an actuation element, the biasing device configured to exert a force on the second locking element in the longitudinal direction, so as to displace the first and second locking elements in relation to each other, where the biasing device is a magnetic biasing device, and the actuation element acts to switch the locking system between a state where the biasing device magnetically repels the second locking element and a state where the biasing device magnetically attracts the second locking element.

Bicycle system
The field of the invention relates to bicycle systems, especially to bicycle systems adapted for use with smartphones, to smartphones configured for use with bicycle systems, and to methods and to computer software for use with such bicycle systems or smartphones, and to servers configured to communicate with such bicycle systems or smartphones. According to a first aspect of the invention, there is provided a bicycle system including a bicycle, the bicycle system including a processor integral to the bicycle, the bicycle system further including a battery integral to the bicycle, wherein the processor is powerable by the battery, the bicycle system including a smartphone holder configurable to receive a smartphone and to connect the smartphone to the processor, wherein in use the smartphone holder is attachable to, and detachable from, the smartphone. Advantages include that the smartphone can be charged by the battery, the smartphone can communicate with the processor so as to receive various information such as maintenance-related information of the bicycle system, the bicycle system can investigate the smartphone identity to check for unauthorized use of the bicycle system, the smartphone is held during bicycle system travel which reduces the risk of damage to the smartphone, and the bicycle system shape is more aerodynamic than that of a bicycle to which a processor and/or a battery has merely been bolted-on.
Apparatus and method for bicycle anti-theft
An apparatus and a method for bicycle anti-theft are provided. When a biometric feature of a user matches a preset biological feature, a brake lever is fixed at a preset position to lock the bicycle.

ELECTRIC BICYCLE
The disclosure relates to an electric bicycle. The electric bicycle comprises an electric motor for at least temporarily assisting or replacing a pedal operation. Assigned to the electric bicycle are at least two keys equipped with different rights, which differ from each other with respect to operating modes of the electric bicycle permitted in conjunction with a relevant key. One of the keys is an administrator key equipped with expanded rights. The expanded rights of the administrator key aids to provide a determination from a plurality of particular operating modes implementable for each of a remaining key from the at least two keys.

RACK FOR SUPPORTING A BICYCLE IN A GENERALLY UPRIGHT POSITION
A rack for supporting a bicycle in a generally upright position, the rack comprising a frame comprising a curb bar; and the curb bar comprising a mounting surface for exerting a counterbalancing force on a crank assembly of the bicycle to frictionally hold the bicycle in the generally upright position. When the bicycle is supported by the curb bar, the bicycle is positioned relative to the rack for securing the bicycle to the rack. The curb bar exerts a counterbalancing force on the pedal axle or the pedal of the bicycle. The counterbalancing force may be a frictional force or a torque. Bicycles can be supported on either side of the rack, the bicycles facing in either a forward or reverse direction. The bicycle may be secured to the rack at multiple points.
Locking Device for a Driveshaft of a Bicycle, and Bicycle Comprising Same
A locking device (1) for a drive shaft (2) of a bicycle includes a radially outwardly extending, disk-shaped portion (3) non-rotatably mountable on the drive shaft (2). The radially outwardly extending, disk-shaped portion (3) has at least one groove (5) in a radially outer edge region (4). The locking device (1) also includes a locking element (6) arranged adjacently to the radially outer edge region (4) and an actuatable shift element (7) mechanically operatively connected to the locking element (6). The shift element (7) is actuatable to bring the locking element (6) into interlocking connection with the at least one groove (5) in order to lock the drive shaft (2).
