PNEUMATIC ONLY HEIGHT ADJUST SEAT POST ASSEMBLY
20230192207 · 2023-06-22 · ·

A seat post assembly for a bicycle includes a first tube having a first distal end and a second tube having a second distal end. A distance between the first distal end of the first tube and the second distal end of the second tube is at a maximum when the first tube is in a first position relative to the second tube. The seat post assembly also includes a first chamber and a second chamber that are fluidly coupleable. The first chamber is a positive fluid chamber, and the second chamber is a negative fluid chamber. The seat post assembly includes a fluid volume disposed in the first chamber and the second chamber. The fluid volume includes a compressible fluid. The first chamber is configured to act as a spring configured to bias the first tube towards the first position relative to the second tube.

Adjusting structure for seat post of bicycle

An adjusting structure for seat post of bicycle includes an external tube. A gas lift is disposed in and engaged with the external tube. An actuator rod protrudes away from a main body of the gas lift. An internal tube is movably disposed in the external tube, and the actuator rod is engaged with an end of the internal tube. A diameter of the internal tube is greater than a diameter of the main body, so that the internal tube could be moved relative to the main body in an axial direction. A restricting structure is mounted between the main body and the internal tube and is adapted to restrict the internal tube from rotating relative to the gas lift and the external tube. Since the restricting structure is not in contact with the external tube, friction provided by the restricting structure could not deform the external tube.

Systems and methods of bicycle suspension

A parallelogram suspension in a bicycle, the parallelogram suspension comprising a first swing arm rotatably coupled to a seat post at a first end of the first swing arm; a second swing arm rotatably coupled to the seat post at a first end of the second swing arm; a linkage rotatably coupled between a second end of the first swing arm and a second end of the second swing arm; a deformable support disposed in a volume defined between the first swing arm, the second swing arm, and the linkage; and a release configured to selectively open the volume to release the deformable support.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SUPPORTING TELESCOPING ELEMENTS

An inner tube moves axially between an outer tube and a support, all of which are concentrically arranged, to a desired telescopic position, relative to the outer tube and the support, and can be locked in the desired telescopic position by applying radial force between the support and the inner surface of the inner tube. The radial force generates a frictional force acting on the inner surface of the inner tube, which resists longitudinal movement of the inner tube. A bicycle actuator cable is coupled to an actuator connector for a tension-controlled actuator by a bicycle cable connector which has a fixed longitudinal position on the bicycle actuator cable. The bicycle cable connector is longitudinally consistently removably repeatably interengageable with the actuator connector to maintain longitudinal alignment of the bicycle actuator cable with the actuator through repeated engagement and disengagement of the bicycle cable connector and the actuation connector.
