SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SUPPORTING TELESCOPING ELEMENTS

An inner tube moves axially between an outer tube and a support, all of which are concentrically arranged, to a desired telescopic position, relative to the outer tube and the support, and can be locked in the desired telescopic position by applying radial force between the support and the inner surface of the inner tube. The radial force generates a frictional force acting on the inner surface of the inner tube, which resists longitudinal movement of the inner tube. A bicycle actuator cable is coupled to an actuator connector for a tension-controlled actuator by a bicycle cable connector which has a fixed longitudinal position on the bicycle actuator cable. The bicycle cable connector is longitudinally consistently removably repeatably interengageable with the actuator connector to maintain longitudinal alignment of the bicycle actuator cable with the actuator through repeated engagement and disengagement of the bicycle cable connector and the actuation connector.

Height Adjusting Device for a Bicycle Seat Post
20170240234 · 2017-08-24 ·

A height adjusting device for a bicycle seat post provides an up-down adjust unit. All the oil-flow control elements of the height adjusting device are arranged inside the up-down adjust unit. The oil flows between the valve port and the oil-block plate are blocked by both the oil-block plate and the valve port touching tightly in an up-down engaging manner. By the structure, what repairing the oil-flow control elements needs is to replace the up-down adjust unit when the oil-flow control elements are out of work. Therefore, it is convenient to repair and assemble. The valve port and the oil-block plate are arranged up and down so that they may touch each other closely in surfaces engaging. Thus, it provides good oil-blocking effects. Besides, the oil-block plate receives no shear stress occurring in the prior art generated from suddenly pressing down the seat. Therefore, it has a long service life.
