Bicycle seat post travel adjustment assembly
11364963 · 2022-06-21 · ·

There is described a bicycle seat post assembly in which the travel distance of the seat post can be adjusted. The seat post assembly includes an outer tube that is configured to telescopically receive an inner tube. The inner tube is axially slidable relative to the outer tube between a retracted position and an extended position, the extended position being determined by an extension assembly in which an inner contact member engages an outer contact member, thereby setting the upper limit of axial extension of the inner tube. The extension of the inner tube can be limited to an intermediate position that lies between the retracted and extended positions by an insertable shim that is positionable between the inner and outer contact members.

ADJUSTABLE SEAT POST ARRANGEMENT

A bicycle seat accessory that includes an adjustable seat and a rear seat accessory to provide a seating surface for a user and a rider or passenger. The adjustable seat is movable between a first and second position and when in the second position, the seating surface of the seat substantially aligns with the seating surface of the rear seat accessory to form a substantially continuous seating surface. The frame of the bicycle includes an accessory shelf onto which the rear seat accessory can be mounted. Additionally, the frame includes one or more brackets to which footpeg accessories can be mounted to provide foot rests for the passenger of the bicycle while seated on the rear seat accessory.

Control system for human-powered vehicle

A control system includes a detection device and an electronic controller. The detection device is configured to detect passenger information related to at least one passenger of a human-powered vehicle driven by a driver of the human-powered vehicle in which the at least one passenger is different from the driver. The electronic controller is configured to control at least one component of the human-powered vehicle in accordance with the passenger information.

PNEUMATIC-HYDRAULIC CONTROL VALVE
20220170565 · 2022-06-02 ·

A pneumatic-hydraulic control valve includes a valve base and a valve stem movably disposed in the valve base. A first inner oil guiding hole of the valve stem communicates with a first outer oil guiding hole of the valve base. A second inner oil guiding hole of the valve stem does not communicate with a second outer oil guiding hole of the valve base when the valve stem is closed, and communicates with the second outer oil guiding hole of the valve base when the valve stem is opened. Further, the valve stem has a first stressed portion for bearing a fluid closing force and a second stressed portion for bearing a fluid opening force. The outer diameter of the first stressed portion is larger than that of the second stressed portion. Thus, the present invention reduces a valve opening force without affecting the sealing effect.

Adjustable seatpost

A seat post assembly for a bicycle has a first tube with a first distal end and a second tube with a second distal end. The first and second tubes are movable relative to one another to establish a distance between the first and second distal ends. A first pressure chamber has a loaded pressure proportional to a load applied along the tube axis. A second pressure chamber has a second pressure not proportional to the load. A flow path connects the first and second pressure chambers. A valve is disposed along the flow path and is configured to move between a closed position closing the flow path and an open position opening the flow path between the first and second pressure chambers. An isolator of the valve is configured to nullify any resultant force produced by the loaded pressure of the first pressure chamber acting on the isolator.
