PIVOTABLE ADAPTOR FOR A SADDLE-TYPE SEAT
A pivotable adaptor is provided for an accessory coupled to a vehicle, such as a backrest and/or baggage system, where the accessory is positioned adjacent a saddle-type seat on the vehicle. A first member is configured to couple to the vehicle and a second member is configured to couple to the accessory, where the second member is pivotably coupled to the first member and is configured to pivot away from the saddle-type seat on the vehicle. The adaptor can be used in conjunction with a pivotable accessory, a vehicle, and in a method of improving access to a saddle-type seat on a vehicle. The pivotable adaptor thereby improves access for an operator and/or a passenger with respect to a saddle-type seat on a vehicle having a backrest and/or baggage system.

A luggage rack for securing an item of luggage to a motorcycle or a scooter includes an adapter plate on which the item of luggage may be fastened. The adapter plate includes at least one positioning element configured to position the adapter plate relative to the motorcycle or motor scooter, and a displacement device having a lever and an engagement element which cooperate to secure or release the adapter plate from the motorcycle or motor scooter when the lever is moved between an open position and a closed position to cause the engagement element to slide into and out of engagement with a fixing point on the motorcycle or motor scooter.
Scooter system and method of use
A scooter includes an elongated foot rest base extending from a first end to a second end; a first wheel secured to the first end of the foot rest base; a second wheel secured to the second end of the foot rest base; a pivot joint extend through a thickness of the foot rest base, the pivot joint being positioned between the first end and the second end; a locking mechanism secured to the foot rest base and configured to lock the joint in a fixed position; a backrest pivotally secured to the second end of the foot rest base; and a storage compartment rigidly secured to the backrest.

A two-wheeled vehicle includes a frame having a front frame portion, a mid-frame portion, and a rear frame portion. The mid-frame portion is coupled to the rear frame portion and the front frame portion. The vehicle further includes a plurality of ground-engaging members for supporting the frame. The engine includes an air deflector to assist in cooling a rear cylinder of a V-twin engine. An accessory windshield is also shown which may be coupled to the handlebars and front forks of the vehicle. Also, a rear accessory attachment is shown mountable to the rear fender.
