DROPPER SEATPOST ASSEMBLY HAVING A CUTOUT THEREIN
A dropper seatpost assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes an upper post and a lower post having a tubular geometry, the lower post telescopically coupled with the upper post to form a length adjustable seatpost. An actuator located within the length adjustable seatpost, the actuator to allow or restrict a telescopic movement of the length adjustable seatpost. The actuator including an actuator interface configured to couple with a control cable that provides input to the actuator. At least one cutout in a sidewall of the lower post, the at least one cutout to provide access to the actuator interface of the actuator.
Dual crown steering assembly
A steering assembly for a bicycle includes a front fork that includes an upper crown, a lower crown, and a rigid crown connector that connects the upper crown to the lower crown. The steering assembly also includes an upper cone configured to mount to the upper crown of the front fork. The upper cone includes an upper cone bearing interface configured to interact with an upper bearing assembly seated in an upper portion of a head tube of a bicycle frame. The steering assembly also includes a lower cone configured to mount to the lower crown of the front fork. The lower cone includes a lower cone bearing interface configured to interact with a lower bearing assembly seated in a lower portion of the head tube of the bicycle frame.
BICYCLE HANDLEBAR ASSEMBLY WITH V-SHAPED STEM
A bicycle handlebar assembly comprises a base bar, a v-shaped stem selectively removable from the base bar, and a bicycle fork assembly. Control cables from the bicycle may be routed from the base bar into hollow diverging stem members of the v-shaped stem. The bicycle fork assembly comprises an external-steerer fork having a load-bearing member and a preload tensioning rod. The preload tensioning rod fits within a head tube of the bicycle, and a hollow space around the preload tensioning rod accommodates control cables passing from the v-shaped stem into a hollow portion of the bicycle frame. The v-shaped stem is secured against the base bar by a pair of nut plates. In some examples, an engagement portion of an accessory such as an aerobar extension assembly is configured to secure the v-shaped stem and an aerobar extension against the base bar.
Bicycle head structure and bicycle
A bicycle head structure includes a stem and a detachable cover. The stem is disposed between a handlebar and a head tube of a bicycle, and the stem has a top surface. The detachable cover covers the top surface, and an accommodating space is formed between the top surface and the detachable cover.
