VEHICLE WITH GEO-FENCED RIDE CONTROL SYSTEM
A vehicle with a Geo-Fenced Ride Control System including: one or more battery modules including one or more battery cells; one or more processors operably connected to the one or more battery cells to control vehicle performance; and a Global Positioning System (GPS) or cellular network receiver configured to determine location of the vehicle; wherein the one or more processors communicates with a remote sever to determine a plurality of available vehicle performance settings for the vehicle based on the location of the vehicle. The vehicle further includes a user input interface configured to receive user input including selection of the vehicle performance setting form the plurality of available vehicle performance settings based on the geographic location of the vehicle.
SADDLE-RIDE TYPE VEHICLE
A saddle-ride type vehicle includes a retainer that is provided behind a head pipe; an inflator; and an airbag that is housed in the retainer, inflates by gas discharged by the inflator, and is deployed in front of an occupant. The retainer is disposed below a handlebar. The airbag is formed in a bag shape by a joining structure of a front surface and a rear surface, and a panel that forms a circumferential length difference between the front surface and the rear surface in a side view is provided at a coupling portion between the front surface and the rear surface.
TRANSMISSION STRUCTURE OF ELECTRIC CLUTCHLESS MOTORCYCLE
A transmission structure of electric clutchless motorcycle includes an electric motor, a variable speed gear set, a variable speed gear box and a gear position sensing unit. The arrangement of the gear position sensing unit is so configured that the transmission structure of electric clutchless motorcycle mechanism not only maintains the inertial energy recharge of the electric motor to increase the endurance of the vehicle, but also allows the driver to accurately control the speed control knob when switching gears, and furthermore can increase the automatic gear shift function of the electric gear shift design.
Air intake system for a vehicle
An air intake system for a vehicle has a conduit having an internal wall forming an air passage. A deflector is disposed within the air passage. A restricting structure is disposed within the air passage between the deflector and a conduit outlet. The restricting structure defines at least in part an opening substantially laterally aligned with the deflector. The restricting structure has a lateral wall disposed downstream of the deflector and extending within the air passage. The lateral wall has a front surface generally facing a conduit inlet, and a plurality of surface-increasing features provided on the front surface. Each of the surface-increasing features has a length of at least 1 mm measured from the front surface in a direction normal thereto. An air intake system having a collector connected to the deflector and positioned to collect at least some moisture from air flowing past the deflector is also described.
Electric motorcycle with novel swing arm configuration
The present invention is generally directed to a swing arm configuration and, more specifically, a swing arm that is supported by a shaft of a motor, such as an electric motor of a motorcycle. The configuration includes a swing arm assembly that is supported by a shaft of a motor at one end and a rear axle at the other end. Advantageously, the shaft of the motor may be a structural component of an electric motorcycle and serve as the swing arm pivot as well as the drive shaft.
ELECTRONIC COMPONENT ASSEMBLY FOR A MOTORCYCLE ASSEMBLY
A system for a motorized vehicle having a frame and a wheel rotatably coupled to the frame has a first fender housing mounted to the frame, a second fender housing coupled to the first fender housing so that a volume is defined therebetween and an electronic component disposed in the volume.

A motorcycle (10) comprising a first frame member (110) having a first opening (128) and a plurality of wires. A joint member (140) is coupled to the first frame member and at least a second frame member (122, 62). The joint member has a second opening (142) therethrough. The plurality of wires extend into the first opening through the first frame member and through the second opening of the joint member.

SADDLE-RIDE TYPE VEHICLE
To realize disposition of a retainer that can improve an occupant comfort of a passenger of a saddled vehicle. In a saddled vehicle including: a vehicle body including a head pipe that supports a steering system and a down frame that extends downward from the head pipe; a retainer provided behind the head pipe; an inflator; and an airbag accommodated in the retainer, the airbag being configured to be expanded by gas released by the inflator and deployed in front of the passenger, the retainer is provided with a fastening portion that fastens the retainer to the vehicle body, and the fastening portion includes a plurality of fastening members.
HYBRID POWER UNIT, HYBRID STRADDLE VEHICLE, AND CASE OF HYBRID POWER UNIT
A hybrid power unit includes: an internal combustion engine; a power transmitting shaft to which power from a crank shaft is transmitted and which is housed in a crank case; an electric motor including a motor driving shaft projecting from a motor housing toward a lateral side, the electric motor being located on an outer surface of the crank case; a linkage which extends through a through hole of the crank case and through which power from the motor driving shaft is transmitted to the power transmitting shaft; and a shaft cover defining a shaft space that houses a portion of the motor driving shaft which projects from the motor housing, the shaft cover being detachably fixed to the outer surface of the crank case so as to cover the through hole.
