A mounting structure for mounting a pivot arm to an implement has a cylindrical member, an adjusting sleeve, and a mounting bolt extending through the cylindrical member and adjusting sleeve to fix the cylindrical member and adjusting sleeve together. The cylindrical member extends through a bore of a bearing housing for rotation within the bearing housing. The adjusting sleeve has a threaded external surface. A disc spring is positioned on the adjusting sleeve. An adjusting nut is threaded onto the threaded external surface of the adjusting sleeve. The adjusting nut can be tightened to compress the disc spring to create a lateral bearing force against the bearing housing. The bearing housing can be integral with a pivot arm for mounting a gauge wheel assembly on a planter row unit, or the bearing housing can be a fixed part for mounting a pivot arm for a closing/press wheel on a drill.

An agricultural system for monitoring yaw of an agricultural implement having a frame connectable to an agricultural work vehicle, a first plurality of disks supported on the frame and angled leftward, and a second plurality of disks supported on the frame and angled rightward, where the first plurality of disks engages a field at a first penetration depth, and the second plurality of disks engages the field at a second penetration depth. The system further includes an orientation sensor supported on the agricultural implement and configured to generate data indicative of yaw of the agricultural implement. Additionally, the system includes a computing system configured to receive the data generated by the orientation sensor, determine the yaw of the agricultural implement based at least in part on the data generated by the orientation sensor, and initiate a control action based at least in part on the yaw of the agricultural implement.

A tillage implement is a type of agricultural implement that includes a main implement frame and a disk frame adjustably coupled to the main implement frame, with the disk frame having a plurality of disk blades supported thereon. Furthermore, the tillage implement includes sensors configured to generate data indicative of an orientation of the main implement frame and the disk frame relative to a field surface. Furthermore, the tillage implement includes a computing system communicatively coupled to the sensors. In this respect, the computing system is configured to determine the orientation of the main implement frame and the disk frame relative to the field surface. Additionally, the computing system is configured to determine when the plurality of disk blades are plugged based on the determined orientation of the main implement frame and the disk frame relative to the field surface.

Row cleaner suspension for agricultural implement

A suspension system for a row cleaner used with an agricultural row unit. A base is connectable with the agricultural row unit and a support is provided for journaling row cleaner sweeper blades. Links pivotally connect the base and the support for up and down movement of the sweeper blades towards the ground. A pair of coil springs have one end connected to the upper links and the other a free end. A series of holes in the base receive an adjustment pin to provide preselected levels of downward force towards the ground.
