Fiber reinforced resin material plate-shaped member

In the vicinity of a front end of a plate-shaped member of a fiber reinforced resin material having long fibers, to suppress deterioration in strength due to waviness of the long fibers during press-molding. The plate-shaped member is formed by a discontinuous fiber reinforced resin having long fibers. A flat surface part of the plate-shaped member is provided with a hole part, and a side wall is integrally formed to a semicircular end of the flat surface part located closer to the hole part. The side wall is arranged in a region between an opening edge of the hole part closer to a front end, and the front end so as to extend around its outer circumference.

Saddle type vehicle

A saddle type vehicle includes a seat rail and a seat that is attached to the seat rail. The seat rail includes an outer edge that is placed on an outward side in a vehicle body width direction and an inner edge that is placed on an inward side in the vehicle body width direction and higher than the outer edge. On the other hand, the seat includes a sitting part. When the sitting part sits on an upper surface of the inner edge, a side part of the seat surrounds (covers) the sitting part.

The radiator is disposed between the accommodation box and a front wheel. A rear edge lower portion, which is at least part of a rear edge, of the cover with which an opening of the accommodation box can be closed and opened is inclined obliquely in side view of the vehicle body, and the cover is supported in an opening-forward manner with reference to a support shaft disposed along the inclination.

VEHICLE WITH UPPER AND LOWER FRAME PORTIONS

A vehicle includes a frame including a lower frame portion made from a first material and an upper frame portion made from a second material different from the first material, a center of gravity of the upper frame portion being above a center of gravity of the lower frame portion, at least one front suspension system connected to the lower frame portion, at least one front ground engaging member connected to the front suspension systems, at least one rear suspension system connected to the lower frame portion, at least one rear ground engaging member operatively connected to the rear suspension system, a power pack connected to and supported by the lower frame portion, a seat connected to and supported by at least one of the upper frame portion and the lower frame portion, and at least one body panel connected to and supported by the upper frame portion.

Two-wheeled vehicle

A two-wheeled vehicle includes a frame assembly, a plurality of ground-engaging members for supporting the frame assembly, and a cooling assembly positioned below a head portion of the frame assembly and intermediate vertically-extending frame tubes of the frame assembly. A lower end of the cooling assembly is coupled to a lower end of the vertically-extending frame tubes, and an upper end of the cooling assembly is frictionally retained at an upper end of each of the vertically-extending frame tubes.

A vehicle frame's coupler structure that connects separable frames for easy assembly and disassembly, at a low cost. Further, the couple structure can provide a vehicle that is easy to operate, without affecting the user when in use. The vehicle frame's coupler structure includes combining a Front-side Coupler Inner Face (8) with Rear-side Coupler Inner Face (9), and after making sure all components of (8) and (9) are in place (no protruding edges, etc.), and using Bolt (15) to fasten Part (6) with Part (7). The end result is the coupler system of the vehicle.

STRADDLE VEHICLE

A straddle vehicle of the present invention includes: a vehicle body frame member; a rotatably supporting member supporting a front wheel; a support arm supporting the rotatably supporting member, the support arm extending rearward from the rotatably supporting member; a pair of upper and lower link members pivotally connected to the support arm at two locations on a rear portion of the support arm at least on one side of the vehicle body in a vehicle width direction, the two locations being spaced in the upward-downward direction, the pair of upper and lower link members extending rearward from the support arm, each of the link members having a rear portion pivotally connected to the vehicle body frame member; a handle; and a handle supporting member removably coupled to the vehicle body frame member and supporting the handle.
