Method for the production of tailor welded blanks (TWBs)
Method for producing a component system having a first component with a first component portion and a second component with a second component portion, including the following steps: connecting, in particular welding or soldering, the first component portion, which consists of an aluminum alloy, to the second component portion, which in particular consists of a naturally aged aluminum alloy, a copper alloy or an iron alloy, in particular a steel alloy, so as to form a connection seam; artificially aging the connection seam such that the yield strength of the connection seam is above the yield strength of the first component portion and/or of the second component portion; and deforming, in particular deep-drawing and/or stretch-drawing, the component system.

Axle With Clone Clamping System
A quick-release axle system includes two bicycle elements, particular two chain stays. They are connected to each other by means of a quick-release axle. Two clamping elements are provided for the connection, so that a non-positive connection is realized between the two bicycle elements and the quick-release axle.
FOLDING BICYCLE
An aspect of the invention provides a folding bicycle (10) comprising a first frame section (12a); a second frame section (12b) movably mounted to the first frame section so that the first and second frame sections may be moved relative to each other from an unfolded position to a folded position; a front wheel (40) mounted to the first frame section; a rear wheel (42) mounted to the second frame section; a chainset (48) mounted to the first frame section comprising a pair of crank arms (48a) fixed to a bottom bracket axle (74) and defining a crank shaft axis orthogonal to the first and second frame sections; wherein, the bottom bracket axle comprises first and second axle members (74a) extending orthogonally to the crank arm axis and a bridge portion (74b) connecting the first and second axle members, the bottom bracket axle defining a void between the first and second axle members, and wherein, when in a folded position the front and rear wheels are positioned at least partially within the void defined between the first and second axle members.

Joint structure of a composite bicycle frame and manufacturing method thereof
A joint structure of a composite bicycle frame includes a base layer and at least one reinforcing layer. The base layer is made of a first polymeric matrix material doped with a plurality of first fibers. The first fibers have random fiber orientation, and the base layer has a first thickness. The reinforcing layer is adhesively connected to the base layer. The reinforcing layer is made of a second polymeric matrix material doped with a plurality of second fibers. The second fibers have a single fiber orientation. The reinforcing layer has a second thickness which is smaller than the first thickness of the base layer.

Body frame for two-wheeled motor vehicle
A body frame of a two-wheeled motor vehicle includes a first frame extending rearward from a head pipe, a second frame disposed beneath the first frame with a gap there between, a third frame disposed beneath the second frame with a gap there between, a plate-shaped first reinforcing member provided between the first frame and the second frame, and a plate-shaped second reinforcing member provided between the second frame and the third frame, and the first reinforcing member and the second reinforcing member are formed so that external shapes thereof are connected. Thus, it is possible to provide a body frame for a two-wheeled motor vehicle that contributes to cutting the number of components and increasing the stiffness.

Small-sized saddle riding vehicle, and rigidity adjustment device of body frame of vehicle
In a rocking vehicle, a front wheel suspension device suspends a front wheel in an upwardly displaceable manner due to a reaction force from a road surface. The rocking vehicle includes a cushion support arm, on a body frame side, including a cushion support portion of the front wheel suspension device, and a rigidity adjustment device which is extended between plural portions of the cushion support arm. The rigidity adjustment device applies a pre-tension to the cushion support arm, and the pre-tension generates a pre-force component in the cushion support portion in the same direction as the upward moving direction of the front wheel due to a reaction force of the front wheel from the road surface.
