MICROMOBILITY ELECTRIC VEHICLE CARGO HANDLING
A micromobility electric vehicle includes a front storage volume and a rear storage volume. The front storage volume may be defined on two sides by an angled footboard portion and a column. The rear storage volume may be defined on two sides by a curved footboard portion and a seat post. Retainers including an elastic member may be employed in the front and/or rear storage volume to releasably secure objects of different sizes and shapes in the front or rear storage volumes. Hooks may be employed in the front and/or rear storage volumes to allow an object with a strap to be supported in the front or rear storage volume.
SHOCK ABSORBER STRUCTURE AND MOBILITY DEVICE INCLUDING SAME
A shock absorber includes a stationary part; a steering part extending in a longitudinal direction and rotatably coupled to the stationary part by a rotation axis in the longitudinal direction; a sliding part which forms an internal space containing fluid between the steering part and slidably coupled to the steering part in a direction in which the steering part extends; an elastic body having both ends respectively coupled to the steering part and the sliding part to support the steering part and the sliding part and maintain the internal space between the steering part and the sliding part; a flow path formed in the sliding part and configured to communicate the internal space between the steering part and the sliding part to outside so that the fluid can flow; and a steered driving wheel slidably connected to the sliding part.
CHILD VEHICLE WITH TOOL-LESS COMPONENTS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A child vehicle includes a front frame having a handlebar with a steering tube and a front fork having a fork stem and a front wheel, a rear frame including a head tube and a rear wheel, and a sleeve assembly mounted to the front frame and engaging the rear frame to rotatably connect the front and rear frames in a tool-less manner. A method of tool-less assembly of a child vehicle includes inserting an end of the fork stem through the head tube, sliding an inner sleeve over the end of the fork stem and positively connecting the inner sleeve to the fork stem, sliding the outer sleeve over an end of the steering tube, connecting the steering tube to the fork stem, and connecting the outer sleeve to the inner sleeve. A child vehicle having a rear wheel connected to the vehicle in a tool-less manner and a method of achieving such a tool-less connection is also disclosed.
Quick-Flip Bicycle Headtube Component
A system for manipulating the steering axis angle of an object is provided. The system is beneficial for improving performance and enjoyability of use for objects employing a steering axis, including bicycles, toys, tools, sporting goods, and other modes of transportation. The system includes a reversible bearing plate with a bearing plate bore that permits passage of a steerer tube through a head tube when reversible bearing plates are installed at the head tube ends. The bearing plate bore may be at the center of the reversible bearing plate to maintain a steering axis coaxial with the head tube central axis. The bearing plate bore may be offset from the center of the reversible bearing plate and may employ an angled annular space such that when reversible bearing plates are installed oppositely at the head tube ends, the steering axis is offset from the center of each reversible bearing plate generating an angle between the steerer tube central axis and the head tube central axis, resulting in a correspondingly steeper or slacker head angle. Methods of employing reversible bearing plates for maintaining, steepening, or slackening the head angle of a bicycle are provided.

Ebike with partially exposed battery
An ebike comprises a front wheel, a rear wheel, a frame structure supported on the front wheel and the rear wheel, a crank assembly, and a battery assembly. The frame structure includes a down tube defining a down tube axis and being open at its lower end. The crank assembly is rotatable about a crank axis that is spaced rearward from the down tube axis. The battery assembly is slidable into the down tube from the lower end of the down tube along the down tube axis. The battery assembly includes a battery housing protruding from the lower end of the down tube, and a battery cover secured to a lower end of the battery housing and substantially enclosing the lower end of the battery housing. At least a portion of the battery housing may extend below a horizontal plane defined by the crank axis.
